About the Role

In Finance, we work hand-in-hand with leaders across the company to support disciplined execution of our strategic business objectives. Our Strategic Finance team provides financial insights through business partnering, forecasting, budgeting, and financial analysis.

As an Associate on the Strategic Finance team, you will support key financial planning and analysis activities for our Platform Engineering organization. This role is highly analytical and modeling-intensive. You will work with Finance and cross-functional partners to translate business questions into structured financial analyses and scalable models that support planning and decision-making.

We are looking for someone with exceptional financial modeling and analytical skills—someone who can take a business problem, identify the key inputs and assumptions, determine the appropriate outputs, and build a robust and scalable financial model from the ground up.

What You'll Do
  • Build Scalable Financial Models: Design and build financial models from scratch, identifying the appropriate inputs, assumptions, drivers, calculations, and outputs needed to answer business questions.
  • Translate Problems into Analytical Frameworks: Take complex or ambiguous business questions and structure them into clear, quantitative analyses.
  • Forecasting & Planning: Build and maintain driver-based forecasting and planning models, including scenario and sensitivity analyses.
  • Financial Analysis: Analyze financial and operational data to understand key cost drivers, trends, variances, and trade-offs.
  • Improve Existing Models: Evaluate and enhance existing financial models to improve accuracy, scalability, automation, and ease of use.
  • Reporting & Insights: Translate model outputs and financial analyses into clear insights for Finance and business stakeholders.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work with Finance, Accounting, and business partners to source and validate model inputs, understand actuals, and ensure consistency of financial data.
Basic Qualifications
  • BS/BA in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, Engineering, or another quantitative field.
  • 2 years of relevant experience in FP&A, investment banking, consulting, corporate finance, or another highly analytical role.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Exceptional Excel and/or Google Sheets skills, with demonstrated experience building complex financial models from scratch.
  • Strong understanding of financial modeling principles, including driver-based forecasting, scenario analysis, sensitivities, and model architecture.
  • Ability to independently structure an analytical problem by identifying the required inputs, assumptions, calculations, and outputs.
  • Strong quantitative and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Ability to build models that are accurate, dynamic, scalable, and easy for others to understand and maintain.
  • Ability to synthesize complex analyses into clear financial insights and communicate them effectively.
