Marvell's Connectivity Business Group sits at the center of this transformation, delivering the high-performance interconnect technologies that enable unprecedented bandwidth, efficiency, and system-level innovation.
We are seeking an exceptional Chief of Staff to the Senior Vice President and General Manager of the Connectivity Business Group. This is a highly visible executive leadership role that combines strategic planning, operational excellence, business management, and organizational leadership. The successful candidate will serve as a trusted advisor to the SVP & GM while helping drive execution across one of Marvell's most important and fastest-growing businesses.
This role is fully onsite and based in Santa Clara, California. Given the highly collaborative and executive-facing nature of the position, in-office presence five days per week is required.

Working directly for the Senior Vice President and General Manager, you will partner with executive leaders across:

You will lead and influence cross-functional teams spanning North America, Europe, Israel, and Asia while serving as a key member of the Connectivity Business Group leadership staff.

This role provides unparalleled exposure to executive decision-making, semiconductor product strategy, hyperscale customer engagement, financial planning, and organizational leadership.

As Chief of Staff, you will be responsible for helping translate strategy into execution across a multi-billion-dollar business at the forefront of AI infrastructure innovation.

You will help shape business priorities, accelerate critical initiatives, improve operational effectiveness, and ensure alignment across the organization.

Strategic Leadership

  • Partner closely with the SVP & GM to define and drive business strategy, organizational priorities, and long-range planning.
  • Facilitate executive decision-making through rigorous analysis, business insights, and strategic recommendations.
  • Drive alignment across leadership teams to ensure successful execution of key business objectives.

Business Operations Excellence

  • Lead the Business Operations function for the Connectivity Business Group.
  • Develop scalable operational processes that improve organizational effectiveness and speed of execution.
  • Establish operating rhythms, governance models, and business reviews that enable disciplined execution.

Executive Communications

  • Develop executive-level presentations, board materials, strategic reviews, and communications for senior leadership.
  • Translate complex technical, financial, and organizational topics into concise, compelling narratives.
  • Ensure consistent messaging across executive stakeholders and business functions.

Program and Portfolio Management

  • Drive execution of high-priority strategic initiatives across engineering, product, operations, and commercial teams.
  • Establish program governance and accountability mechanisms to monitor progress against objectives.
  • Resolve cross-functional challenges and accelerate decision-making to keep critical programs on track.

Financial and Business Planning

  • Partner with Finance leadership to support annual planning, forecasting, investment prioritization, and budget management.
  • Analyze business performance and identify opportunities to improve profitability, operational efficiency, and growth.
  • Help drive resource allocation decisions aligned with strategic objectives.

Organizational Effectiveness

  • Develop and implement KPIs and executive dashboards that provide visibility into business performance.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives that simplify processes and improve organizational agility.
  • Support organizational design, workforce planning, and talent initiatives that enable future growth.

Change Leadership

  • Lead transformational initiatives that support evolving business priorities and market opportunities.
  • Build alignment across diverse stakeholder groups while fostering a culture of accountability and execution excellence.
  • Champion operational rigor while maintaining the agility necessary to compete in rapidly evolving markets.

Executive Partnership

  • Serve as a trusted advisor, thought partner, and extension of the SVP & GM.
  • Coordinate leadership staff meetings, strategic offsites, executive reviews, and business planning processes.
  • Ensure focus on the highest-value opportunities and strategic priorities across the organization.

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Management, Finance, or a related field.
  • 15+ years of experience in business operations, program management, strategy, engineering leadership, product management, or related executive-level functions.
  • Demonstrated success operating in highly complex technology organizations.
  • Experience leading cross-functional initiatives involving engineering, product, operations, and finance organizations.
  • Exceptional executive communication and presentation skills with demonstrated ability to influence senior leaders.
  • Strong business acumen with experience supporting strategic planning, operational reviews, and executive decision-making.
  • Proven ability to drive alignment across diverse stakeholder groups and organizational boundaries.
  • Strong analytical capabilities with experience using data and metrics to drive business outcomes.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree or MBA.
  • Experience within the semiconductor, networking, cloud infrastructure, AI systems, or related technology industries.
  • Technical background in semiconductor engineering, networking systems, hardware platforms, silicon development, or software infrastructure.
  • Experience working with hyperscale cloud providers, AI infrastructure companies, networking OEMs, or enterprise technology customers.
  • Knowledge of product development lifecycles, semiconductor operations, and go-to-market execution.
  • Experience supporting C-level executives, general managers, or large business unit leaders.

Expected Base Pay Range (USD)

224,460 - 336,300, $ per annum

The successful candidate’s starting base pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location and market conditions. The expected base pay range for this role may be modified based on market conditions.
