The Opportunity:
By embodying our core purpose of customer obsession, driving innovation, and delivering excellence, you will help ensure that every touchpoint is meaningful and contributes to our mission of redefining the possible in healthcare. The AVP, Pre Access will oversee all the core insurance verification and authorization work. The leader will be accountable for successfully onboarding all diagnostic and surgical service lines to EIQ Clear, and for accomplishing the EIQ / Waystar / Rhyme / eMPA associated automation and AI AOP goals. He or she will be responsible for identifying and implementing strategies to improve processes, promote operational efficiency, enhance the patient experience and meet regulatory compliance guidelines. This role requires active engagement and collaboration with operational, support service leadership and staff and must establish positive, collaborative relationships with operational leaders. Some travel will be required.

- Provides vision, leadership and operational oversight for all Pre-Access functions and Senior Access leaders across the organization. This position will establish positive, collaborative relationships with operational leaders to fulfill the Ensemble Differences.
- Actively leads and/or participates in modernizing Pre-Access This includes but is not limited to: goal setting (department level and/or overall revenue cycle), tracking and reporting of metrics, development and implementation of action plans to achieve goals, the review and implementation of new technologies, standardization of policies and processes and development of communication tools, both for associates and internal customers.
- Organizes functions through establishing clear accountabilities, delegation of duties and appropriate departmentalization without creating silos.
- Develops and maintains an effective, visible and well-respected leadership team by selecting, evaluating, coaching and managing the performance of qualified professionals.
- Promotes team-building relationships in all areas of responsibility.
- Accountable for a comprehensive and effective communication strategy with the department that promotes Employee Engagement, which includes enhanced employee productivity and morale. Communication style should promote a common understanding of the market, vision, strategy and accountabilities.
- Assists with budget management.
- Ensure associates are aware and compliant with all applicable laws, regulations, and guidelines.
- May be required to perform other job-related duties as requested.
Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
- 5 + years of leadership experience
- 5+ years of Revenue Cycle, Patient Access or Pre Access experience
- Demonstrated advanced usage of AI, success in translating AI into Business outcomes, and the ability to move teams from experimentation to scale.
- Experience in healthcare provider finance operations or similar service environment required
- Strong executive presence with the ability to project confidence, credibility and authority; able to remain calm & show decisiveness under pressure
- Demonstrated experience implementing strategic initiatives including alignment of company goals and vision with operational execution
- Financial and project management experience required
- Ability to effectively lead diverse teams and influence change management
- Effective communication skills with ability to clearly and succinctly convey information and ideas
- Demonstrated use of KPIs to drive and track team performance
**This position pays between $111,800 - $150,000 based on experience, and is eligible for annual incentives.**
**This is a remote position; however, candidates must be willing and able to travel to and work onsite at client, temporary, or corporate office locations as business needs dictate.**
Certifications:
- CRCR certification required within first 9 months of hire
- CHAM preferred
