BI Project Manager / 6+ months contract / San Ramon, CA

Critical Skills & Experience:

Senior Project Manager with >5 years of experience managing technology projects

Strong acumen with all Project Management Knowledge Areas

Functional knowledge of Enterprise Data Warehousing

Strong understanding of System Development Life Cycle (SDLC)

Strong experience delivering projects using a waterfall methodology

Proven track record of proactively managing risks

Extremely strong verbal, written and presentation skills (clear, concise and confident, with audience-appropriate level of detail)

Risk/Issues management experience

Expert MS Project Skills

Strong attention to detail

BI experience

Regulatory project experience

Qualifications

Other:

PMP or other Project Management certification(s) preferred (also prefer that they be current)

Experience with banking / financial services is a nice-to-have

Experience with test planning / coordination is a plus
