Overview

SRI’s Biosciences Division (BSD) develops transformative approaches and platforms for challenging therapeutic problems. We conduct basic and translational research, have the breadth — and depth — to deliver the latest in biomedical research through technology development. Our researchers have a rich legacy of collaboration with government agencies and industry partners that improve health outcomes and well-being around the world. SRI Biosciences projects range from high-impact, early-stage research to drug co-development with pharmaceutical and biotech companies.

BSD's Biomolecular Discovery and Design Lab identifies novel targets for complex genetic and age-related disorders and develops new cell-based therapies for these diseases. They also create innovative devices and systems for drug delivery and diagnostic applications. The Lab is looking for a highly motivated Research Associate (RA) I or II to contribute to multiple innovative programs spanning from drug target discovery to cell and gene therapies and drug delivery.  The RA will support mission-focused work in mammalian cell culture, molecular biology and biochemistry. The ideal candidate has a background in cell and/or molecular biology and is passionate about learning new cutting-edge technologies and contributing to multidisciplinary projects.

This position will work onsite at our Menlo Park, CA office.
