Brand Creative Consultant

Current is a leading consumer fintech platform transforming financial access for everyday Americans, with over six million members. We build financial products that work together to meet our members' real needs and help all Americans build better financial futures. Based in NYC, our results-driven environment pushes us to build better products, grow faster, and give everyone on the team a real hand in our business and our mission to improve financial outcomes.

About The Role:

We're looking for a Brand Creative Consultant. Working directly with the SVP of Marketing, you will spearhead the next stage of how our brand shows up across the full funnel, from TV, Social Media, and Digital Ads to our Website, App and Debit/Credit Cards.

We have a strong brand strategy in place, set by our CEO and executive team. The opportunity here is to bring that strategy to life, to execute with good taste and strong judgment in order to develop a brand that resonates with our audience.

You'll be a hands-on leader with strong storytelling instincts, leading both internal and external creative resources, while working across teams to deliver work that both inspires and is effective.

This is a contract position.

What You'll Do:

  • Develop a brand creative strategy that covers the entire Current customer journey, from awareness through retention.
  • Set a strong creative standard, keeping the brand experience consistent across all touchpoints.
  • Manage a process that sustains a high-quality steady stream of performance ads, social content, and brand campaigns.
  • Direct upper funnel creative across TV, radio, out-of-home, audio, podcast, influencer, and social.
  • Partner closely with Product Design/UX on the assets, guidelines, and tools that make all of our product experiences on brand.
  • Work closely with Legal and Compliance to ensure we're adhering to the necessary requirements as we’re operating in a regulated category.

What You'll Bring:

  • 10+ years in brand or creative leadership, ideally in consumer tech/finance or another high-growth environment.
  • Creative instincts that resonate with everyday Americans.
  • Proven ability to deliver inspiring work while achieving business objectives.
  • A collaborative disposition that can work across marketing, product, and executive teams.
  • Experience managing significant creative budgets efficiently towards achieving business goals, not collecting awards.
