Your role at Clorox:

As the Brand Manager - Innovation you will Identify emerging consumer needs and drive product incubation.
Responsibilities include translating insights into bold innovation platforms, crafting value propositions, and partnering cross-functionally with R&D, Sales, Finance and supply chain to commercialize new products and execute go-to-market plans.

In this role, you will:

  • Innovation Strategy: Identify strong ideas for the innovation funnel and build conviction around them, covering design, pricing strategy, and financial modeling.
  • Cross-Functional Leadership: Partner with R&D, manufacturing, sourcing, and finance to bring new, executable ideas to market.
  • Consumer & Market Analysis: Analyze category dynamics, shopper behavior, and the competitive landscape to refine concepts and accelerate growth.
  • Go-to-Market (GTM) Execution: Build GTM plans for new product launches and oversee packaging, claim development, and advertising

  • Industry & Skill Experience: Minimum of 3 years in packaged goods industry with experience in launching & scaling new products
  • Role Experience:
    • Brand and/or innovation experience
    • Track record of thinking-out-of-the-box, driving innovation and launching successful initiatives
    • Digitally Savvy and proficient in design thinking and agile methodologies.
    • Strong analytical skills and data-driven mindset.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, engineering or a related field.

Workplace type:

This role will require talent to be based out of the Oakland, CA area with the ability to be in the office 3x per week, in accordance with our Hybrid 2.0 Policy.

We are committed to fair and equitable pay and are transparent with current and future teammates about our full salary ranges. We use broad salary ranges that reflect the competitive market for similar jobs, provide sufficient opportunity for growth as you gain experience and expand responsibilities, while also allowing for differentiation based on performance. Based on the breadth of our ranges, most new hires will start at Clorox in the first half of the applicable range. Your starting pay will depend on job-related factors, including relevant skills, knowledge, experience and location. The applicable salary range for every role in the U.S. is based on your work location and is aligned to one of three zones according to the cost of labor in your area.


–Zone A: $131,200 - $258,500

–Zone B: $120,300 - $237,000

–Zone C: $109,400 - $215,500

This job is also eligible for participation in Clorox’s incentive plans, subject to the terms of the applicable plan documents and policies.
