About Us

Rho is the modern banking platform built for startups. Open accounts in minutes, issue cards, manage expenses, pay bills, and close the books – all in one connected platform backed by real human support.

The Role

Rho is hiring a Brand Marketing Manager to make Rho impossible to ignore.

You'll lead high-visibility campaigns that earn attention across the channels our customers actually use - social, press, creator networks, events, and cultural moments. From big-swing activations to content that spreads, you know how to take a brand from known to talked about.

This is a role for someone who thinks in surface areas - who wakes up asking where the businesses we want to reach spend their time, and how Rho shows up there first. You'll build awareness and affinity in new and emerging markets, taking the playbook that's worked with our earliest communities and extending it to the next wave of companies building on Rho.

You'll work directly with the VP of Marketing and collaborate across Sales, Partnerships, RevOps, Video, and Brand Design to bring ideas to life.

What You'll Do
  • Map the attention landscape for the businesses Rho wants to reach - where they spend time, who they trust, and what earns their attention

  • Develop and execute high-visibility brand campaigns across social, digital, video, OOH, and IRL

  • Identify and activate earned media opportunities: press moments, creator partnerships, and content formats that spread

  • Design brand activations - stunts, partnerships, OOH, and digital moments - that generate measurable earned reach

  • Build awareness and affinity in new and emerging markets, extending what's worked in our core communities to the next set of cities and ecosystems

  • Turn tier 2 and 3 product launches into memorable brand moments

  • Use AI to move faster and do more: generating and iterating creative concepts, building reporting and testing workflows, and exploring what's newly possible when a marketer works alongside agentic tools

  • Collaborate with Sales, Partnerships, RevOps, Video, and Brand Design to align ideas with business goals

  • Turn cultural moments, customer insights, and product launches into marketing that resonates

  • Build systems for measuring awareness lift, earned impressions, share of voice, and downstream conversion by channel

  • Track and share performance insights to continually raise the bar on creative effectiveness

What We're Looking For
  • 4-6+ years in brand marketing, creative strategy, or campaign management

  • A track record of campaigns that earned attention without buying all of it - PR hits, viral moments, creator partnerships, or stunts that spread

  • Strong instinct for where a brand can show up unexpectedly and win - always scanning for the gap

  • A strong mix of creative thinking and hands-on execution, from brainstorm to launch

  • Comfortable working cross-functionally with Sales, Partnerships, RevOps, and creative teams to bring ideas to life

  • Genuine curiosity about the businesses Rho serves - from venture-backed startups to the wider world of growing companies - and the communities and cities where they cluster

  • Genuine fluency with AI tools, already active in how you work and not aspirational

  • Thinks in distribution - every idea comes with a plan for how it spreads beyond paid

  • Thrive in fast-paced, collaborative environments where ideas move quickly

  • A performance mindset - you care as much about outcomes as you do about storytelling

Bonus Points

  • Experience building brand in new or emerging markets, or carrying a playbook from one community to the next

  • You can name brands or operators doing brand marketing well right now and articulate why

  • Systems for capturing and amplifying customer-led and UGC content

  • Fintech, banking, or B2B literacy

Our people are our most valuable asset. The salary range for this role is $150,000 - $185,000. Base salary may vary depending on relevant experience, skills, and business needs. In addition to base pay, Rho offers equity, healthcare benefits, and paid time off.
