Waymo is an autonomous driving technology company with the mission to be the world's most trusted driver. Since its start as the Google Self-Driving Car Project in 2009, Waymo has focused on building the Waymo Driver—The World's Most Experienced Driver™—to improve access to mobility while saving thousands of lives now lost to traffic crashes. The Waymo Driver powers Waymo’s fully autonomous ride-hail service and can also be applied to a range of vehicle platforms and product use cases. The Waymo Driver has provided over ten million rider-only trips, enabled by its experience autonomously driving over 100 million miles on public roads and tens of billions in simulation across 15+ U.S. states.

On the Waymo Marketing team, you will help to connect people with the magic and impact of Waymo's autonomous driving technology. Our team has the unique opportunity to not only grow Waymo's brand from the ground up, but to also build societal acceptance for autonomous driving technology for the first time in history. We build thoughtful marketing strategy, positioning, messaging and creative assets to deliver messages that matter to our audience, communicated through anything from video content, to social media interactions, to immersive physical experiences. We also shape Waymo's go-to-market initiatives, helping to transform Waymo into a thriving business with a growing user base.

In this hybrid role, you will report to our Brand Media and Analytics Lead.

You will:

  • Establish global processes, roles & responsibilities, and timelines for a unified cross-functional go-to-market strategy within the Brand Marketing team.

  • Maintain file repositories and streamline workflows to ensure seamless collaboration with external agencies.
  • Support financial forecasting by developing accurate spend projections and identifying budget variances across channels.
  • Drive the scaling of our new organization by developing adaptable frameworks for deploying in additional markets.

You have:

  • 5+ years of experience in executive support, advertising agency, or program management, with a track record of managing medium-to-high complexity tasks with limited guidance.
  • Proven track record managing projects with large budgets, complex strategies, and driving quantifiable results for established brands with a high volume of campaigns.
  • Expertise in using tools, systems, and processes for successful end-to-end project management.
  • A proactive approach to project scoping, consistently anticipating next steps, likely questions, and potential roadblocks.
  • Overseen end-to-end billing management, including PO creation, invoice receipts, and tracking actuals.
  • Deep familiarity with trafficking workflows, campaign management processes, creative specifications, and operational documentation

We prefer:

  • PMP certification or equivalent project management credentials.
  • Experience identifying when others on the team need help and proactively stepping in to resolve issues.
  • Excellent communication and partnership skills, with the confidence to contribute regularly in meetings, present work, and build relationships across multiple teams.
  • Experience with cross-channel media strategy, connecting programmatic, search, and social to broader business objectives.
  • Process-oriented mindset with the ability to define and implement globally scalable operations.
  • Ability to juggle multiple priorities, work under pressure, and maintain strong attention to detail with short deadlines.
