The Business Analyst supports the Lumin Digital leadership team by assisting in preparing pricing proposals, managing Statements of Work (SOWs), and conducting financial and operational analysis. This role is highly collaborative across Delivery, Sales, Finance, Legal, and Product departments to provide data-driven insights for business planning and decision-making. The Business Analyst is expected to build foundational reports and maintain data accuracy while gaining exposure to strategic forecasting.


Key Responsibilities:

Assist in creating and maintaining sales proposals, SOWs, and price sheets to meet baseline profitability standards.

Analyze gross margin and cost trends and support revenue forecasting efforts.

Conduct financial modeling and generate ad hoc reports to support sales and operational planning.

Evaluate pricing proposals and assess alignment with company goals.

Maintain and validate data related to billing and pricing to ensure accurate invoicing and forecasting inputs.

Partner with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, support inquiries, and deliver actionable insights.

Interpret and communicate analytical findings clearly to stakeholders.

Perform other duties as assigned.



Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.

Minimum 2 years of experience in financial analysis, reporting, or forecasting.

Strong Excel and spreadsheet skills; exposure to tools such as SQL or Tableau is a plus.

Demonstrated analytical thinking, attention to detail, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Strong communication skills with the ability to explain financial concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

High level of integrity and discretion in handling confidential information.

Education:

Education:  Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field required.  BS/BA required.

Experience: At least two (2) years of experience with financial forecasting, analysis, or reporting experience is preferred.



Travel: Minimal, generally 12 days or less per year, ~2X team get togethers a year
