Mission

Navi is scaling fast — from startup scrappiness to structured growth. Founder-led sales have proven the demand; now it’s time to systematize it. As a Business Development Associate, your mission is to turn momentum into motion — keeping every lead tracked, every demo scheduled, every proposal moving, and every deal closed. You’ll be the operational backbone that ensures our CEO can focus on high-impact conversations, while you handle the details that drive revenue.

Responsibilities
  • Sales Operations: Maintain CRM hygiene in HubSpot/Salesforce; make sure every lead, contact, and deal stage is current and actionable.

  • Outbound Campaigns: Run email and LinkedIn outreach to flight schools, aviation programs, and defense organizations.

  • Demo Coordination: Schedule product demos, prepare briefing notes, and align internal teams ahead of meetings.

  • Proposals & Contracts: Draft SOWs, pricing sheets, and proposals; coordinate signatures, procurement forms, and NDAs.

  • Pipeline Momentum: Keep deals from stalling — ensure next steps are defined, followed up, and executed.

  • Revenue Operations: Track signed contracts, confirm invoicing and payments, and hand off cleanly to Customer Success.

About You
  • 1–3 years of experience in sales development, business operations, or CRM management (HubSpot/Salesforce familiarity a plus).

  • Excellent communicator — professional, concise, and persistent without being pushy.

  • Exceptionally organized; thrives on keeping a process clean and accountable.

  • Confident writing outbound emails, managing follow-ups, and running multiple deals at once.

  • Comfortable working in a startup environment — adaptable, fast-moving, and self-directed.

  • Excited about aviation, defense, or emerging tech, even if new to the field.

Why This Role Matters

Every great sales organization is built on consistency — and that’s what this role provides. The Business Development Associate transforms Navi’s sales motion from ad hoc to scalable, ensuring opportunities don’t slip through the cracks. Your work keeps the team aligned, the deals flowing, and the revenue predictable. You’re the force multiplier that turns conversations into contracts.

What You’ll Get
  • Competitive compensation — salary plus potential performance-based bonuses.

  • Flight training stipend — earn your pilot’s license while working with aviation’s next frontier.

  • Upward mobility — path to Account Executive, Sales Manager, or Operations Lead.

  • Mission-driven culture — join a team shaping how aviation and defense adopt AI.
