How the Banking World is Changing

The global banking architecture is undergoing a foundational paradigm shift. Traditional fractional-reserve banking systems and legacy settlement networks are increasingly constrained by T+1/T+2 settlement delays, operational counterparty risk, restricted operating hours, and fragmented capital efficiency. As institutional finance converges with public blockchain infrastructure, capital markets demand programmatic, 24/7/365 settlement rails backed by total transparency and unencumbered reserves. Operating under a Wyoming Special Purpose Depository Institution Charter, N3XT represents the next evolution of narrow banking—providing a fully-reserved, institutional-grade bridge between traditional capital markets and digital asset liquidity.

About N3XT

N3XT is a Wyoming-chartered Special Purpose Depository Institution (SPDI). We are a new, innovative bank designed to serve as the premier settlement and banking infrastructure bridging traditional capital markets and public blockchain rails. Backed by elite institutional investors including Paradigm, HACK VC, Winklevoss Capital, and Pharsalus, we provide institutional-grade security, execution velocity, and total transparency for global B2B clients, trading desks, and market makers operating in a globally connected world.

About the Role

Growth at N3XT is driven by market structure design, deep network effects, and high-value institutional execution. The Commercial team is responsible for introducing narrow banking and frictionless fiat-to-digital settlement to the world’s most sophisticated capital markets participants.

We are seeking a seasoned Senior Business Development Manager with a proven track record in institutional capital markets, trading infrastructure, or institutional sales to architect and drive our expansion across premier global financial hubs.

Reporting directly to the Head of Commercial & Growth, you will lead high-stakes deal origination and strategic coverage. You will operate at the intersection of US banking rails, institutional liquidity flows, and digital asset markets—engaging CFOs, Treasurers, Chief Investment Officers, and Heads of Trading to position N3XT as the primary banking and settlement partner for institutional capital.

What You’ll Be Doing
  • Institutional Origination & Deal Structuring: Lead end-to-end deal cycles with tier-1 and mid-tier institutional market participants, including market makers, quantitative funds, OTC desks, prime brokers, and high-volume institutional liquidity providers.
  • C-Suite Advisory & Treasury Solutions: Partner with client CFOs, Treasurers, and Heads of Trading to architect bespoke banking setups that optimize pre-funding requirements, accelerate fiat-crypto settlement cycles, and maximize collateral liquidity management.
  • Capital Markets Flywheel & Ecosystem Expansion: Scale N3XT’s institutional referral ecosystem ("Meet me @ N3XT"), embedding our banking infrastructure into prime brokerage, custody, and trading counterparty networks to drive exponential network effects.
  • Strategic Event & Industry Representation: Represent N3XT as a subject matter expert at premier global conferences (Capital Markets, FX, and Digital Asset summits)—driving C-level bilateral meetings, keynotes, and rapid client onboarding.
  • Commercial Strategy & Pipeline Governance: Own revenue, deposit, and transaction volume KPIs. Utilize pipeline analytics and market feedback to inform executive leadership on product roadmap priorities and strategic market positioning.
What You’ll Need
  • 5–8+ years of commercial experience in Capital Markets BD/Sales, Prime Brokerage, FX/OTC Trading, or Institutional Digital Asset Sales.
  • Institutional Capital Markets Expertise: Deep understanding of market structure, clearance and settlement mechanics, trade workflows, liquidity management, and prime brokerage dynamics.
  • Digital Asset & Crypto Fluency: Sophisticated understanding of institutional digital asset infrastructure—specifically stablecoin rails, fiat-crypto ramp mechanics, CeFi liquidity desks, and emerging tokenized asset workflows.
  • Proven Track Record of Deal Origination: Demonstrated history of independently prospecting, structuring, and closing complex, high-value institutional financial services accounts.
  • Strategic & Analytical Mindset: Ability to map complex market ecosystems, navigate multi-stakeholder approval processes, and utilize data-driven insights to refine target account-based strategies.
Nice to Have
  • An established network of C-level decision-makers across Wall Street, Tier-1 trading desks, market makers, exchanges, and institutional fintechs.
  • Direct experience navigating institutional onboarding, complex KYB/AML requirements, and multi-jurisdictional banking regulations.
  • Experience executing "land and expand" programs or account-based marketing (ABM) targeting high-net-volume accounts.
Core Values: Who We Are
  • Get It Done: We deliver on our commitments, meet deadlines, and take complete accountability to achieve our goals.
  • Never Settle: We pursue excellence through continuous improvement, constantly elevating client experience, security, and personal growth.
  • Integrity Over Ease: We operate with radical transparency, honesty, and respect—doing what is right for our clients, team, and stakeholders, even when it is hard.
