Position Summary

The Business Development Project Manager plays a key role in supporting the National Account Manager by managing the operational and project coordination aspects of strategic accounts and new business opportunities.  This role serves as a critical link between internal departments – including Customer Service, Applications, Engineering, Regional Sales Managers, and Technical Support – and external distribution partners, contractors, and National Account Customers.  The ideal candidate is process driven, detail-oriented, highly organized, and thrives in a fast-paced environment where collaboration and communication are essential.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the National Account Manager in planning, organizing, and executing projects for key national account customers.
  • Work directly with contractors and Intellihot’s internal support team to organize installations, start-ups, and service visits.
  • Process and track part orders for national account sites, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.
  • Serve as a key point of contact for national account customers, providing updates, resolving issues, and supporting their needs from start to finish.
  • Manage and maintain project pipeline accuracy within the company’s CRM system, ensuring data integrity, timely updates, and visibility across departments.
  • Help refine processes, tools, and communication channels to continuously enhance how we serve our partners.
  • Maintain consistent communication with National Account Manager, clients and stakeholders—providing regular updates, documentation, and status reports.
  • Coordinate and deliver all project closeout materials to national account customers, including startup documentation, training materials, warranties, and maintenance guides.
Qualifications

Qualifications

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Project Management, or related field.
  • 3–5 years of experience in project management, account coordination, or client services—preferably within manufacturing, HVAC, or building systems industries.
  • Experience maintaining CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) and ensuring accuracy of project and pipeline data.

Skills & Competencies:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; comfortable interacting with customers, technicians, and executives.
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities with keen attention to detail.
  • Process-oriented mindset with a focus on standardization and continuous improvement.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and data reporting tools.
  • Team-oriented, self-motivated, and adaptable to a fast-paced environment.

 

Salary Range: $75,000-90,000 per year
