About Within
Tldr on us: Series B, $91M raised, 7x growth last year.

Digital Transformation gave rise to a $600B consulting Industry. AI Transformation will be 10x bigger and will be delivered through agents. We built that.

Our AI discovers how work actually happens across every team and application, Structures it into a living Context Graph, and Improves it continuously.

ServiceNow mapped 900+ processes in 9 days. DoorDash captured 3,800+ finance operations in 14 weeks. That's not a project. That's compounding intelligence.

OpenAI, Google, DoorDash, and Stripe use Within to transform how they transform. We shipped GPT-4 document chat within 12 hours of OpenAI's API launch.

We move fast, reward agency, and care deeply about our customers, our team, and our mission.

About the Role

This is the first dedicated business development role on our Enterprise team, and one of the first at Within. Our Account Executives currently prospect their own patches, which is the single biggest constraint on how fast we add new enterprise logos. You'll take that on: running outbound across a defined book of Enterprise AEs instead of owning a patch of your own.

Your territory: companies with $500M+ in revenue in software, professional services, financial services, healthcare and manufacturing. Your job is coverage and speed - finding accounts the moment they become winnable, reaching the right person first, and building net-new pipeline across multiple patches rather than going deep on a handful of logos.

We don't have a sequencer, a cadence library, or a proven outbound playbook yet. We do have Salesforce, HubSpot, Gong, Clay, Sales Navigator, a documented ICP and sales process, and proof points that get people to lean in. You'll help build the rest, and the plays you write will be what we run for years.

What You'll Do

  • Build and maintain the target account list across the Enterprise segment, against a $500M+ revenue floor. Know which accounts are live, which are parked, and why.

  • Track the signals that predict a deal: an active or imminent ERP, CRM or HRIS migration (S/4HANA, Oracle Fusion, Workday, Salesforce), post-M&A integration, a new transformation mandate, or a new Finance or Transformation executive in their first 180 days.

  • Reach out proactively to senior executives across Technology and Transformation, plus GTM, IT and Finance. Internal Audit and Compliance isn't a viable entry point on its own.

  • Source the process excellence and operations managers who don't hold budget but convert 3-5x better than broad campaigns, and fill our Change Agent Bootcamps.

  • Write outreach a CFO actually reads. Close to half of won deals compete against doing nothing, not another vendor.

  • Qualify every meeting to a real bar: confirmed authority, confirmed need, an identified use case, and a discovery call booked with the AE.

  • Run account planning with our Enterprise AEs and keep handoffs clean.

  • Help build the function: choose the sequencer, set the cadence, write the objection handling, and feed what's working back to the team.

You May Be a Good Fit If You…

  • Have 4+ years of professional experience, including 2+ years in an SDR, BDR or inside sales role selling SaaS or AI solutions, with a quota you've consistently beaten.

  • Have prospected into $500M+ enterprise accounts and can hold structure across hundreds of accounts and multiple AEs at once.

  • Are comfortable opening conversations with CFOs, CIOs and VPs of Transformation, in writing and on the phone.

  • Do the research. Personalization means knowing a company is eighteen months into a stalled Oracle Fusion program, not swapping in a company name.

  • Write short, specific, no-filler copy.

  • Use AI daily in your own workflow, not just talk about using it.

  • Are fluent in Salesforce and modern prospecting tools.

Strong Candidates May Also…

  • Have sold into finance, transformation, process excellence or shared services organizations.

  • Have built an outbound motion from scratch, or rebuilt one.

  • Be adept at Apollo, Gong, Sales Navigator, Salesforce or similar tools.

  • Use LLMs like Claude/ChatGPT/Grok as part of your daily workflow

What Within Values in This Hire

We’re not just hiring a title. We’re hiring a builder. Here’s what matters to us:

  • History of Achievement: You have a track record of setting ambitious goals and hitting them. Quota attainment isn’t a hope - it’s a habit.

  • Intellectually Curious: You learn everything about your customers, their industry, and the product - then use that knowledge to delight prospects and win trust.

  • Appetite for Closing: Passionate about winning. Comfortable asking people to make decisions right now. You drive urgency without creating pressure.

  • Coachable: You have the desire and ability to take feedback, internalize it, and get measurably better - fast.

  • Scrappy Builder: Proven track record of building, not just managing. Hungry for the next level and willing to do the unglamorous work to get there.

  • AI Fluent: You possess a deep understanding and proven track record of using a variety of AI tools across all aspects of the sales process - from discovery to ROI to close. You use AI to sharpen prospecting, manage your time, stay organized, and prioritize your day to maximize results. Building your own Agents and Skills is a plus.

  • Loyalty & Resilience: Commitment to prior employers. We want people who dig in when things get hard, not people who optimize for optionality.

  • Customer Obsessed: Entrepreneurial spirit, strong opinions, bias for action. Cares deeply about customer outcomes.
