InvestNext — People-centric, opportunity-amplifying, built to scale.

At InvestNext, we’re building a connected real estate investment management platform that gives General Partners (GPs) and Investor Relations teams the essential tools to cultivate strong investor relationships, reduce administrative complexity, and grow their portfolios with confidence.

Inspired by our Detroit roots, we believe access to real estate investing should be broader, more transparent, and easier to navigate. The same grit and bold thinking that fueled Detroit’s resurgence shapes how we build. For us, democratizing real estate investing isn’t a slogan, it’s the reason our platform exists: to create clearer, more accessible pathways for people to participate in wealth-building opportunities.

Our work is driven by real outcomes. We’re building a diverse team that cares deeply about the problems we solve for our customers and the experience we create together. Joining InvestNext isn’t just about a role — it’s about contributing to something meaningful: enabling real estate investment access and growth.

Business Development Representative

The Business Development Representative (BDR) at InvestNext plays a dual role in driving growth across our customer segments.

The role focuses on generating qualified pipeline through targeted outbound engagement with Mid-Market General Partners (GPs). These are sophisticated organizations with complex decision processes.

BDRs partner closely with Account Executives, Marketing, and Sales leadership to execute coordinated account strategies and deliver high-quality opportunities while also contributing directly to revenue through smaller deals.

Mid-Market GPs represent InvestNext’s highest-impact growth segment, and outbound engagement is essential to driving pipeline and market awareness of key InvestNext offerings.

BDRs are critical to both near-term growth and long-term market expansion.
In this role, you will

Generate targeted outbound pipeline (Mid-Market GP segment)
  • Identify high-fit Mid-Market GP accounts
  • Research organizations, leadership teams, and operational context
  • Execute personalized outreach across email, phone, and social channels
  • Secure discovery meetings for Account Executives

Engage senior stakeholders

  • Initiate conversations with founders, partners, CFOs, COOs, and operations leaders
  • Communicate InvestNext’s value clearly and professionally
  • Qualify interest, timing, and fit
Execute with discipline and consistency
  • Exemplify the ability to drive both quantity and quality with outbound activity
  • Track outreach, pipeline, and deal progress in CRM
  • Continuously refine messaging based on results
Collaborate on account strategy
  • Partner with AEs to prioritize and engage target accounts
  • Leverage marketing materials and customer stories to establish value
  • Contribute to pipeline planning and forecasting

Success in the First 12 Months
  • Generate a consistent stream of qualified Mid-Market opportunities
  • Demonstrate strong conversion from outreach to opportunities created
  • Build credibility with senior stakeholders
  • Contribute meaningfully to pipeline and revenue targets

If you're right for this role, you
  • See white space as potential–proactively opening doors and building momentum from zero
  • Communicate clearly in writing and conversation
  • Prospect proactively and move opportunities forward
  • Stay persistent and take ownership of outcomes
  • Engage confidently with senior business leaders
  • Manage your time and priorities effectively
