The Business Manager plays a pivotal role in expanding the market presence of the brands we represent by managing relationships with key Natural Enhanced Retailers, along with collaborating closely with brand managers. This high-visibility role involves presenting client products at retail headquarters, driving sales initiatives, and ensuring proper retail placement across accounts. The position also interfaces regularly with retail customers, Customer Service, and Administrative Support teams.

Preferred location: West Coast / Mid West

The ideal candidate brings experience calling on Natural HQ accounts, familiarity with Natural Enhanced Retailers, and strong knowledge of the distributor landscape. Candidates should demonstrate the ability to influence decision-makers at high levels within an organization. Successful Business Managers are organized, communicative, , self-motivated, and energizing presenters capable of engaging both individuals and groups.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct customer headquarter calls and build strong relationships across key retailer departments.
  • Maintain strong partnerships with clients to support the development and execution of effective sales, merchandising, and marketing strategies.
  • Build and sustain collaborative relationships with retail customers, including both Natural Enhanced Retailers.
  • Assist in developing account-specific sales, marketing, and merchandising plans by leveraging data analysis, tracking tools, and forecasting methods.
  • Manage retail promotional activities on behalf of clients.
  • Collaborate with leadership and peers to execute new product introductions and trade promotion strategies within funding parameters.
  • Conduct regular in-store visits to stay informed on merchandising initiatives, retailer strategies, and competitive activity.
  • Meet and exceed client objectives for sales, distribution, pricing, shelving, and promotional volume.
  • Resolve financial and administrative issues including deductions, pricing discrepancies, and related items.
Qualifications
  • Strong organizational skills with a proven record of meeting deadlines.
  • Excellent presentation abilities along with strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with peers and leadership.
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, negotiation, and sales skills.
  • Ability to analyze sales and marketing data for use in high-impact presentations.
  • Proficiency with software tools supporting sales and reporting functions.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Willingness to travel (up to 5%).
  • Experience calling on Natural HQ accounts and understanding of Natural Enhanced Retailers and distributor networks.
