RedCircle is helping creators to turn their podcast into a business. As an Analyst, you’ll play an integral part in our mission as you work with our finance, product, and growth teams to make sure we have the data, systems, and processes we need in order to grow the business. This role will work end-to-end across our data lifecycle, split between platform work (ensuring all of our data sources are connected to the team’s tools, checked for quality, and modeled to support business uses) as well as distribution work (assisting the teams with building and maintaining dashboards, analyses, and other data products for ongoing and ad hoc needs).

If you love to dig deep into the numbers, have a customer-first mindset, and are interested in podcasting / media / influencers, this is a great gig for you. Podcasting is *exploding*, and this is a chance to build a career at one of the top technology startups in the space.

Core Responsibilities
  • Act as a “full stack” data analyst, covering data analysis, visualization, data modeling in dbt, and ETL pipeline. You’re not expected to be an expert in all these areas, but you should be interested in building your skills across this range and using AI to extend your skillset.
  • Bring strong curiosity to what drives our business and the patterns reflected in our data, and use your analytical skillset to provide insights and tools to support company growth in direct collaboration with our CEO and CRO.
  • Update and improve our data pipeline and data models to ensure complete and accurate information is available to teammates and connected tools.
  • Collaborate with product, sales, leadership, and finance team members to conduct analyses that support business growth and product decision-making. Examples of possible projects include: funnel evaluation, sales forecasting, revenue reporting, product analytics, and marketplace analysis.
A great candidate has/is…
  • 4+ years of experience in a highly analytical role, with a deep skillset in one or more data analytics area (ETL pipelines, dbt data modeling, business intelligence) and exposure to the full data stack, including SQL, dbt, Python, and data warehouses
  • 3+ years of experience collaborating with growth or product teams to address core needs, communicate with nontechnical teammates, and equip them with relevant data tools and access
  • A self-starter who is excited about learning and testing new skills and tools, including AI, to improve availability and usefulness of data across the team
  • Gets jazzed about owning projects from end-to-end. We’re a small team, so you’ll be responsible for a lot and you’ll need to operate autonomously
  • Can work hybrid in-person at the RedCircle office in Los Angeles or Boston 3-4 days per week
