Summary

The Operations Associate plays a key role in keeping NCD's core operational workflows accurate, efficient, and running on schedule. Reporting within the Operations team, this role supports the daily execution of assigned workstreams while contributing to the process improvements that make the team faster and more reliable over time.

This individual partners closely with Operations, Engineering, Member Care, Sales, and Finance to keep data clean, transactions accurate, and communication clear across teams. The work spans data integrity, reporting, and the day to day processing that keeps member, agent, and carrier operations moving without disruption.

The ideal candidate is someone who thrives in a fast moving, positive environment, brings strong attention to detail to everything they touch, and takes pride in delivering consistent, high quality results. Key Responsibilities

Operations Support & Data Integrity

•      Maintain the accuracy, consistency, and completeness of data across CRM and operational systems.

•      Identify, investigate, and resolve data discrepancies, documenting issues and resolutions in a timely manner.

•      Serve as a subject matter resource for assigned workflows, ensuring adherence to established guidelines and best practices.

Transaction & Process Execution

•      Process assigned operational workflows (which may include billing, payments, commissions, or enrollment related files) accurately and on schedule.

•      Audit and verify data prior to processing to minimize errors and catch issues before they reach members, agents, or carriers.

•      Support reconciliation efforts, tracing discrepancies back to source and resolving them promptly.

Reporting & Analysis

•      Track, monitor, and report on key operational metrics tied to your workstreams.

•      Analyze trends and recurring issues to surface insights and improvement opportunities for leadership and cross functional partners.

Cross Functional Collaboration

•      Partner with Operations, Member Care, Engineering, Sales, and Finance to keep processes aligned and communication clear.

•      Respond to and resolve service requests and tickets within expected turnaround times.

•      Escalate unresolved issues to the right people, with a path forward, not just a problem.

Process Ownership & Continuous Improvement

•      Act as process owner for assigned daily and weekly workflows, including maintaining clear documentation.

•      Conduct regular audits of assigned workflows and data to confirm accuracy.

•      Support department initiatives, special projects, and process improvement efforts as assigned.

•      Assist in testing, documenting, and rolling out process or system updates.

What You Bring

•      Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy when working with data and processes.

•      Analytical and critical thinking skills, with the ability to spot patterns and improvement opportunities.

•      Comfort navigating multiple systems and tools, and learning proprietary platforms quickly.

•      Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast paced environment.

•      Clear written and verbal communication and a collaborative mindset.

•      A proactive, positive attitude and eagerness to learn and grow within an operations environment.

•      High level of integrity, discretion, and professionalism when handling sensitive data.

Qualifications

•      1 to 3 years of experience in operations, billing, commissions, or financial administration (insurance or financial services experience preferred).

•      Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to identify and correct numerical or data inconsistencies.

•      Proficient in Microsoft Excel (formulas, pivot tables, lookups).

•      Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred (or equivalent experience).
