We are seeking a Business Operations Intern to support critical aspects of our growing business. This role offers exposure to finance, operations, policy development, and strategic planning, making it an excellent opportunity for those interested in the intersection of business and technology.
- Role Type: FTE NON-EXEMPT ; Hybrid
- Compensation: $25/ hr, 20 hours per week
- Location: Alameda, CA
As an intern at Longshot, you will wear many hats and gain hands-on experience in multiple areas of business operations, including:
- Conducting research to identify funding opportunities for company growth.
- Writing and submitting grant proposals to secure non-dilutive funding.
- Collecting and analyzing payroll data to support financial planning.
- Administering company benefits to ensure employee satisfaction and compliance.
- Assisting in the drafting and refinement of company policies.
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree at an accredited U.S. college or university.
- Strong research, writing, and analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently and take initiative in a startup environment.
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize assignments, shift focus, and thrive in a dynamic environment.
- Interest in aerospace, defense, and advanced technology industries is a plus.
