About the Supply Chain Business Operations Team 

The Supply Chain BizOps team’s mission is to ensure supply continuity and cost efficiency while enabling Zipline’s growth. The team also builds business intelligence capabilities that inform strategic decisions across product, production, and operations.

The team is responsible for strategic planning, high-priority program management, executive communications, and digital transformation. Through strong strategic thinking and execution excellence, team members lead cross-functional and cross-commodity initiatives that drive measurable impact across cost, quality, and supply ramp-up.

The Role

The role sits at the intersection of data analytics, strategy design, market intelligence, and digital transformation. The role will partner with business analysts and strategists to identify opportunities to evolve Zipline Supply Chain, develop and execute strategies, and operationalize digital workflows. These efforts will improve Zipline’s unit economics and support its long-term growth.

What You'll Do
  • Conduct due diligence on the latest best-practice supply chain operations
  • Manage programs to achieve Supply Chain goals and own reporting 
  • Build business intelligence to inform Supply Chain operations excellence, cost control, supply continuity improvement
  • Strategize Zipline Supply Chain operations excellence and drive implementation
  • Create enablement materials that help software development team develop future digital solutions
  • Build digital tools to measure and oversee KPIs for Supply Chain
What You'll Bring
  • Pursuing a degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Industrial Engineering, Business Analytics, Data Science, Computer Science, or related field
  • Strong analytical skills with experience to analyze data and generate insights
  • Interest in supply chain excellence, process improvement, digital transformation, and AI-enabled solutions
  • Experience with SQL, Python, Power BI/Tableau, automation tools (coding experience is a plus)
  • Ability to build simple MVPs/prototypes, test ideas quickly, and iterate based on feedback
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally with technical and non-technical teams
What Else You Should Know

Our internships are full-time positions, in-person at our South San Francisco office. We will host our Spring 2027 interns from January to April/May 2027.
