About Us

Weʼre a Series B startup (~55 people) backed by a16z, BCV, YC, and General Catalyst, growing 15% month‐over‐month. Our product is built with AI at its core and is positioned to displace slow incumbents like Zendesk. With most of our growth driven by inbound so far, weʼre just getting started as we scale outbound and expand GTM.

Weʼre building fast, and we need people who want to work hard, own big outcomes, and help scale a company from the ground up.

Why this role exists

As our 2nd Business Operations & Strategy hire, you will drive the analytical work that powers critical decisions around growth, hiring, segmentation, and go‐to‐market execution. You will work directly with the founders and senior leaders across GTM and Product/Engineering, turning ambiguity into clarity and speed.

This is a high‐impact seat: you will build models, analyze data, and design frameworks that help us move faster and smarter.

What you will do:

  • Headcount & capacity planning: Build scalable capacity models to determine who we hire and when, and how ramp impacts revenue.

  • Funnel economics: Own the qualified opportunity → win funnel model, including conversion benchmarks and pacing.

  • ICP & segmentation: Identify which customer personas, segments, and territories to prioritize; develop signals for growth and expansion.

  • Territory design: Partner with GTM teams to design fair and high‐velocity territories aligned with opportunity.

  • GTM analytics: Analyze which GTM motions (email, LinkedIn, outbound, etc.) and messaging resonate best by persona and segment.

  • Product insights → revenue impact: Translate product and customer behavior into actionable insights for expansion and retention opportunities.

  • Operating cadence: Stand up dashboards and metrics to track progress against company goals; help establish how we review and adjust performance.

  • Automation: Build workflows (with tools like Clay, Salesbricks, Default, etc.) to surface opportunity signals and speed up execution.

  • Executive decision support: Provide data and analysis directly to founders to inform company‐level strategy and board materials.

Who you are:

  • You have 2-4 years in Investment Banking or Management Consulting, coupled with experience in Strategic Finance/BizOps at a fast‐growing startup.

  • Youʼre highly analytical and strong in modeling Excel); you can design and communicate clear scenarios that drive decisions.

  • Youʼre comfortable working with incomplete data, asking the right questions, and defining what needs to be instrumented.

  • You bring strong business judgment—you can sense when numbers donʼt make sense and know how to dig deeper.

  • You have a quantitative mindset and are quick to pick up new tools; SQL is a plus but not required.

  • Youʼre self‐directed, resourceful, and thrive in fast‐moving environments.

  • Youʼre willing to put in the time and effort to solve problems that move the company forward.

Nice to haves:

  • Experience with Salesforce and modern GTM tools like Clay, Default, Salesbricks, Scratchpad, and Amplemarket.

  • Experience working cross‐functionally with GTM teams on topics like territory design, quota setting, or ICP refinement.

What success looks like

In this role, success will mean:

  • We have a clear, data‐driven understanding of where to focus our resources (personas, territories, accounts).

  • Our capacity and funnel models are reliable and guide hiring plans, targets, and forecasts.

  • We can articulate whatʼs working and whatʼs not in GTM motions, and pivot quickly.

  • Company goals, dashboards, and metrics are well‐defined and used consistently across the business.

  • Founders and leaders feel confident in decisions because the analysis is crisp, timely, and actionable.

Why this is a unique opportunity

  1. First in the seat: You will shape the function and build the foundation for how we scale.

  2. Direct exposure: Youʼll work closely with founders and executives on the most pressing decisions in the company.

  3. Variety: Youʼll touch GTM, Finance, Product, and Operations—rare scope this early in a companyʼs life.

  4. Impact: The decisions you drive will directly influence revenue growth and company trajectory.
