Job Description

As part of Renesas's Power Product Group Tactical Marketing and Business Planning, you will manage the day-to-day activities required to optimize and grow revenue and margin and deliver high-quality work associated with assigned product lines.

You will partner with Supply Chain, Sales and Sales Operations, NPI teams and Marketing organizations to ensure business objectives are met.

What you will do:

Demand Planning, Revenue, Forecast

  • Drive Financial Planning: Support BUs in executing bottom-up forecasts for Annual Operating Plans (AOP), Mid-Term Plans (MTP), and Long-Term Plans (LTP).
  • Achieve Revenue Goals: Maintain regular communication with Product Line Managers and Sales teams to ensure quarterly management revenue goals are met.
  • Align Revenue Forecasts: Prepare comprehensive monthly operational revenue alignment forecasts.
  • Maintain Forecast Systems: Generate ship demand forecasts and accurately input data into corporate forecasting databases.

Supply & Escalation Management

  • Manage Customer Escalations: Act as the primary point of contact for customer escalations for assigned product lines, working cross-functionally with Sales, Manufacturing, and Planning to allocate product and resolve supply constraints.
  • Track Backlog & Delivery: Review weekly backlog and planned ship dates to highlight supply gaps or bottlenecks well in advance, preventing customer delivery disruptions.
  • Mitigate Revenue Risks: Conduct monthly demand/supply plan reviews to identify constraints within the planning horizon and safeguard revenue goals.
  • Coordinate Wafer Starts: Participate in monthly wafer start reviews to analyze gaps between supply and forecast, determining optimal wafer start levels in collaboration with Operations and Product Line Managers.

Business Analysis & Inventory Control

  • Optimize Inventory: Monitor Weeks of Inventory (WOI), Days of Inventory (DOI), and Excess & Obsolete (E&O) levels to maintain healthy inventory balances per corporate guidance.
  • Perform Trend Analysis: Conduct detailed quantitative analysis on historical trends and competitive dynamics to inform strategic decisions.

Sample Management

  • Coordinate Product Sampling: Facilitate pre- and post-release sample shipping activities for assigned product lines.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Interface regularly with Product Marketing, Product Engineering, and Planning to approve and ship product samples to target customers in a timely manner.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Business, Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
  • Industry Experience: Minimum 2+ years of relevant business or supply chain experience within the semiconductor industry, with a strong working understanding of semiconductor manufacturing flows (fabs, foundries, OSATs).
  • Channel Expertise: Demonstrated track record managing complex forecasting across Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM), Contract Manufacturer (CM), and Distributor (Disty) sales channels.
  • Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, specifically complex Excel data modeling and forecasting techniques.
  • Problem Solving & Communication: Strong quantitative analytical abilities paired with excellent verbal and written communication skills to articulate solutions to cross-functional partners.
  • Leadership & Influence: Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams, lead under pressure, and manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Professional Mindset: Self-starter with a positive attitude, strong sense of urgency, and deadline-driven focus.

Additional Information

The expected annual pay range for this position is $85,000-$100,000. This position is also eligible for bonus opportunities. Please note that the final offer amount will depend on geographic location, applicable experience, and the candidate's skill set.
