Business Process Re-engineering Specialist

Information Technology Strategies, Inc. is a government IT solutions provider servicing commercial and government initiative in various parts of the United States. We are currently seeking a Business Process Re-Engineering Specialist to work for our company. 

Summary:  

Client Agency is Defense Logistics Agency. Candidate will provide facilitation, training, methodology development and evaluation, process reengineering across all phases, identifying best practices, change management, business management techniques, organizational development, activity and data modeling, or information system development methods and practices, and supervision of business process reengineering. Will apply process improvement and reengineering methodologies and principles to conduct process modernization projects. Will be responsible for data modeling, developing modern business methods, identifying best practices, and creating and assessing performance measurements. Will create process change by integrating new processes with existing ones and communicating these changes to impacted Business Systems teams. Will work cross-functionally with development and functional teams to engineer process maps for different business units within the organization. Will work directly with Project Management to track risks, monitor issues and manage all project-critical milestones and tasks. Will leverage various technologies to engineer end-to-end process maps that capture workstreams and workflows across multiple lines of business. Will analyze business workflows and end-to-end processes to ideate and develop new and modified business processes for enterprise-wide applications. Will recommend and facilitate quality improvement efforts. Will work with various business units to validate business requirements, technical specifications and front-end systems features and functionalities. Will facilitate and conduct stakeholder interviews to develop project-critical documentation and artifacts.

Requirements:  

• A CURRENT U.S. Government IT-I / IT-II / SECRET Clearance. Sponsorship will not be provided.
• Must have ServiceNow Certified HR Service Delivery (HR) Implementation Specialist Certification
• Must have 4+ years’ experience in business process reengineering with demonstrated, increasing responsibilities within this field.
• Must have 7+ years’ relevant experience.
• Must have a B.S. or B.A. Degree
• Must have strong verbal and written communication skills including the ability to create frequent business presentations.
• Must have previous experience working directly with both process and product owners to define system requirements, data elements, business rules and User Acceptance criteria for front-end system functionalities.
• Must have previous experience analyzing end-to-end process flows to identify risks, waste and opportunities for improvement.
• Must have previous experience determining scope, planning and writing user stories for front-end system functionalities.
• Must have excellent persuasion skills.
• Must be able to effectively communicate verbally and in writing with business and technical personnel at all levels. 
• Must be willing and able to work standard East Coast Hours (EST)
