As the Business Program Manager – Capacity Demand Predictive Insights, you will develop and maintain forecasting, scorecards, and decision-support insights across AI and non-AI capacity. You will combine demand, supply, customer, and operational signals to identify emerging constraints, quantify risk, and support allocation, mitigation, and demand-shaping decisions. You will support recurring capacity reviews by producing clear dashboards, concise narratives, and actionable recommendations. Your work will help stakeholders understand where demand is changing, where supply is constrained, which customers may be affected, and what follow-up actions are required.


The role sits within Capacity Shared Services in MCAPS Core, where AI and non-AI capacity are managed under the One Capacity approach. You will partner with Engineering, Finance, data science, and tooling teams to improve data quality, test forecasting methods, standardize metrics, and use AI tools and agents to scale recurring analysis and reporting.

Responsibilities

Cultivating Collaborative Leadership

• Partner with Engineering, Finance, Data Science, Operations, and tooling teams to improve data pipelines, operationalize forecasting methodologies, and scale business insights across the organization.

• Drive alignment across cross-functional stakeholders by translating complex business challenges into actionable recommendations and measurable outcomes.

• Influence prioritization decisions through data-driven recommendations that balance customer, business, and operational requirements

Communicating & Influencing with Agility

• Prepare executive-ready presentations, visualizations, reports, and narratives that clearly communicate trends, risks, opportunities, business impacts, and recommended actions.

• Translate complex analytical findings into concise insights that enable leadership decision-making and strategic planning.

• Communicate assumptions, risks, tradeoffs, and data limitations with clarity to build trust and confidence in recommendations

Enhancing Process Quality & Operational Excellence

• Leverage Microsoft Copilot and purpose-built AI agents to accelerate data exploration, anomaly detection, forecasting, reporting, and insight generation

• Identify and implement opportunities to streamline processes, improve operational rigor, increase efficiency, and scale analytical capabilities through automation and continuous improvement.

• Document reusable analytical methods, forecasting approaches, and best practices to support knowledge sharing, capability building, and organizational learning across Capacity Shared Services.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Operations, Finance, or related field AND 4+ years experience in program management, process management, or process improvement OR equivalent experience.
 
Preferred:
  • Strong quantitative skills and practical experience with forecasting, trend analysis, or scenario modeling using complex datasets.
  • Hands-on analytics proficiency using combinations of Excel, Power BI and DAX, SQL, Python, R, or comparable tools for analysis, automation, and reporting.
  • Experience developing KPI definitions, scorecards, dashboards, and standardized reporting for operational or business programs.
  • Demonstrated ability to translate analysis into clear recommendations and influence stakeholders without direct authority.
  • Ability to reconcile data across multiple systems, resolve discrepancies, document assumptions, and communicate limitations clearly.
  • Experience applying statistical or machine-learning methods to forecasting, anomaly detection, or operational decision support.



Business Program Management IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $97,600 - $188,400 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $125,000 - $206,400 per year.
