Your Impact

Join Axon’s Business Solutions team as a Business Solutions Architect / Product Manager responsible for Axon’s Sales Systems and Enablement portfolio. This role owns delivery and ongoing product management for critical platforms that support the end-to-end sales lifecycle — from opportunity management and quoting to forecasting, deal execution, and sales analytics.

You will act as a strategic partner to the Sales organization, working closely with Sales Leadership, Sales Operations, Revenue Operations, and Customer Success to understand business needs, build strong relationships, and translate them into scalable solutions.

In the near term, you will lead high-impact initiatives focused on improving sales productivity, deal velocity, and pipeline visibility, including enhancements to quoting, forecasting, and sales workflows. Over time, you will operate as the product owner for assigned sales systems, shaping roadmaps, prioritizing investments, and ensuring measurable business outcomes across the Sales organization.

A key aspect of this role is close collaboration with IT and Engineering teams, where you will drive rapid prototyping of ideas, validate solutions with stakeholders, and scale them into production-ready capabilities.

You own what gets delivered and why; technical teams own how it is built.

What You’ll Do

Location: Hub-based (Atlanta, Boston, San Francisco, Scottsdale, or Seattle)
Schedule: Hybrid — onsite Tuesday–Friday, remote Mondays
Reports to: Director, Business Solutions
Direct Reports: None (with informal mentorship expectations)

Product & Program Leadership
  • Act as the product manager and delivery lead for Axon’s Sales Systems, including CRM, quoting/configuration, forecasting, and sales analytics platforms.
  • Partner deeply with Sales, Sales Operations, and Revenue Operations to identify pain points, uncover opportunities, and co-create solutions that improve sales efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Build and maintain strong cross-functional relationships across the Sales organization to ensure alignment, trust, and successful adoption of solutions.
  • Translate complex sales processes and business needs into clear product requirements, prioritized backlogs, and actionable roadmaps.
  • Lead end-to-end delivery of key sales initiatives: scope definition, roadmap planning, stakeholder alignment, execution, and value realization.
  • Drive rapid prototyping with IT and Engineering teams to test ideas quickly, gather feedback, and iterate before scaling solutions.
  • Own release planning, UAT strategy, rollout, and adoption across distributed sales teams.
  • Ensure solutions are scalable, intuitive, and aligned with broader go-to-market and revenue strategies.
Product Ownership & Governance
  • Serve as the system/product owner for assigned Sales Systems, accountable for roadmap prioritization, tradeoffs, and platform performance.
  • Define and track success metrics such as sales productivity, pipeline visibility, deal cycle time, and adoption.
  • Establish governance for sales system changes, data quality, and process standardization in partnership with Sales Ops and RevOps.
  • Partner with solution architects and engineering leaders to review designs and manage dependencies (without owning technical architecture).
  • Continuously identify opportunities to simplify workflows, reduce manual effort, and improve the seller experience through automation and better tooling.
  • Communicate progress, risks, and tradeoffs clearly to Sales and IT leadership.
What You Bring
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 8+ years of experience in sales systems, business systems product management, or enterprise delivery roles
  • Strong understanding of sales processes and go-to-market workflows (CRM, quoting/CPQ, forecasting, pipeline management)
  • Proven experience owning and delivering complex, cross-functional initiatives in a sales or revenue-focused environment
  • Experience with platforms such as Salesforce, CPQ tools, or similar sales technologies
  • Demonstrated ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders across Sales, IT, and Operations
  • Strong product management capabilities: roadmap ownership, backlog prioritization, stakeholder alignment, UAT leadership, and phased delivery
  • Experience working closely with engineering teams to prototype and scale solutions
  • Technical fluency with enterprise systems and analytics platforms sufficient to partner effectively with engineering and data teams
  • Ability to operate independently in ambiguous, high-impact environments
  • Strong communication skills and executive presence; comfortable presenting to senior sales and business leaders
  • Collaborative, outcome-driven mindset with a passion for improving the seller experience
Benefits That Benefit You
  • Competitive salary and 401(k) with employer match
  • Discretionary paid time off
  • Paid parental leave for all
  • Medical, Dental, and Vision plans

  • Emotional & mental wellness support
