Job Description:

The Role and Impact
Join Intel Foundry Construction and Sourcing (FCS) in building the world's largest semiconductor manufacturing facilities across the globe. As a Construction Central Document Control Manager, you will play a pivotal role in executing a new document control and records management strategy, ensuring consistent, efficient document control processes across all Intel Foundry construction projects. You will own the standards, operating model and oversight required to ensure project and business records are complete, secure, compliant and retrievable throughout their lifecycle.
Business Group
Within the Foundry Construction and Sourcing (FCS) organization in Intel Foundry, the FCS Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC) team operates to ensure that Intel Foundry compliantly operates free from construction and supply risk disruption. We do this by relentlessly delivering agile and reliable oversight with an Intel Foundry governance, risk, and compliance framework that minimizes foundry risks and business impacts for our customers. Within the FCS GRC team, the Central Document Control Manager governs the FCS enterprise document and records management strategy, enabling compliant, efficient and scalable information management across FCS.
This individual will play a critical, forward-looking role in modernizing document control and records management practices across all sites, including executing a new, holistic cross-FCS records management strategy and evaluating processes for efficiency, standardization, automation and appropriate use of AI-enabled capabilities. This role will closely partner with construction project teams, project controls teams, design teams, sourcing teams, CW workgroups and other stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities

  • Owns and governs the centralized enterprise document control framework used across all FCS Construction projects.
  • Executes the updated global FCS Construction Document Control and Records Management strategy, operationalizing centralized improvements for process simplification, automation, AI enablement, Project File Index (PFI) modernization and operating model optimization.

  • Ensures the Construction Document Control system protects Intel intellectual property, supports contractual, legal, audit and claims defense requirements, maintains complete, accurate and retrievable project records and serves as the single source of truth for project documentation.
  • Defines, maintains and governs the standard Project File Index (PFI), approving updates, deviations or exceptions, ensuring contractual deliverables are properly stored and searchable in accordance with PFI requirements and overseeing deployment of the PFI structure within approved project platforms (e.g., BIM360).
  • Manages Construction Document Control platform administration and access governance, overseeing implementation of permissions and role alignment by Local Document Control teams and ensuring access audits are conducted in accordance with Intel policy.
  • Ensures contractual deliverables are transmitted through Intel Document Control in accordance with contract requirements.
  • Governs FCS records management practices to support traceability, audit readiness and claims defense.
  • Partners with Program and Project Managers to align Construction Document Control services with project needs, recommending opportunities for reducing document control cost footprint across sites.
  • Manage Construction Document Control requirements from project initiation through project closeout, ensuring document control standards are applied consistently throughout projects at all sites and aligned with Intel Records Retention Policy.
  • Ability to lead cross-functional teams and align stakeholders in matrixed organizations.
