Role Overview

You’ll be the growth engine and cultural architect of Vibecoderz. As founding CMO, your mandate is to build Vibecoderz into the default home for AI-native developer learning. Think Notion’s bottoms-up adoption meets Discord’s community energy.

Your job: scale Vibecoderz from 0 → 100K+ active users → 20K+ paid subscribers within the first year, while building a sticky ecosystem where developers learn, build, and share. You’ll drive community-led growth, viral loops, world-class campaigns, and developer-first storytelling.

You are not just running campaigns — you are building a category: Superficient Learning.

Key Responsibilities

  1. GTM & Growth Strategy

    • Define and execute Vibecoderz’ B2C growth playbook.

    • Build funnels from free sign-ups → Pro plan upgrades → long-term retention.

  2. User Acquisition & Paid Conversion

    • Drive 20K+ paid Pro users within Year 1.

    • Optimize onboarding flows, trial → paid conversion, and habit loops.

  3. Community & Culture

    • Build Vibecoderz’ Discord HQ into a 10K+ member developer hub.

    • Launch rituals (challenges, AMAs, hackathons, leaderboards) to retain members.

  4. Brand Building & Positioning

    • Craft Vibecoderz’ brand identity: logo, voice, design language, and category narrative.

    • Position Vibecoderz as the “Notion for AI learning” in the developer ecosystem.

  5. Content & Events

    • Publish high-quality blogs, tutorials, videos, and byte courses.

    • Run webinars, AMAs, and virtual hackathons with CTOs, VPs of Eng, and researchers.

  6. AI-Native Marketing Execution

    • Leverage AI tools for content generation, campaign automation, and lead scoring.

    • Build Martech pipelines with Segment, HubSpot, Apollo, and n8n.

  7. User Feedback Loops

    • Continuously listen to developers via Discord, Twitter, GitHub.

    • Synthesize insights back into the product roadmap with PM/CTO.

  8. Retention & Engagement

    • Design habit loops (daily streaks, progress dashboards, certificates).

    • Ensure >80% 12-month retention for paid subscribers.

  9. UGC & Viral Loops

    • Turn artifacts (AI Slides, Mini-Apps, Byte Courses) into shareable content.

    • Build referral mechanics to fuel viral growth.

  10. Team Leadership

    • Hire and mentor a world-class team in growth, design, community, and content.

    • Build an org that blends creativity, data, and technical marketing DNA.

12 Months:

  • 20K+ paid users with >80% retention.

  • 100K+ MAUs with strong activation (30%+ DAU/MAU).
