Job Description:

We are hiring a Chief Revenue Officer to lead and scale Uniphore's global revenue engine. Reporting to the CEO and joining the executive leadership team, you will own Sales from day one and build the sales operating system behind it, in partnership with a founder-CEO who is deeply engaged in go-to-market strategy.

This role calls for equal parts strategist, builder, and closer: a proven enterprise revenue leader who has led a global sales organization and can diagnose what an organization needs, then build it.

Role is based out of our Headquarters in Palo Alto.

The Environment
  • Founder-led and CEO-engaged. The CEO is an active partner in sales strategy, deal strategy, and key accounts.
  • A builder's environment. Process, playbooks, and infrastructure are still being created. You will build them, not inherit them.
  • High-velocity and evolving. Priorities, segmentation, and motions shift as the company learns what works, and many decisions are made with incomplete data and no precedent. You will thrive in ambiguity and bring clarity to it.
  • Close to the customer and the product. There is a short distance between the field, product, and the executive team.

What You Will Do
  • Set and execute the global revenue strategy with the CEO, Board, and executive team, including targets, planning, and investor-ready forecasting.
  • Diagnose what the sales organization needs and build it: assess the current team and leadership bench, define the org design and hiring profiles, make fast and fair talent decisions, and hire senior leaders.
  • Lead and grow the global sales organization, including regional sales leaders, enterprise account executives, sales engineering, and sales operations.
  • Build the sales operating system, not just run it: pipeline generation, deal inspection, forecast accuracy, sales process, enablement, and compensation.
  • Engage directly in strategic deals and lead executive sponsorship with the most important customers and prospects.
  • Sharpen Uniphore's go-to-market motion around the Business AI Cloud and its industry solutions with Product, Marketing, and Partnerships, including hyperscaler and data platform partners.

Who Thrives Here
  • Builder over operator. Energized by creating structure, not just running a well-oiled machine.
  • Collaborative, not territorial. Treats CEO involvement as leverage and a source of access and credibility, while earning the standing to push back and shape the strategy. Disagrees in private and aligns in public.
  • Hands-on. A player-coach who leads from the front: engaged in strategic deals, coaching leaders as well as reps, and willing to fix a forecast process personally.
  • Pragmatic about process. Knows when to add structure and when it would slow things down.
  • Resilient and low-ego. Handles change, partial wins, and course corrections without needing a polished system around them.
  • Accountability-forward. Owns the number and the outcome, with or without perfect tooling, and models the culture of a high-accountability, fast-moving company.

What You Bring
  • A proven team builder. Has diagnosed what a sales organization needed and built it, not only run an organization that was already in place. Has recruited, developed, and retained a strong leadership bench, brings a point of view on org design, hiring profiles, onboarding, enablement, and compensation, and leaves behind leaders who can run their own organizations.
  • A global enterprise sales leader. Has been directly accountable for a multi-region, quota-carrying organization across the Americas plus EMEA and/or APAC, owning the number, the forecast, and the operating cadence, with a track record of taking a business through a meaningful step-change in scale.

Also Required
  • 15+ years of enterprise software or technology sales experience, including 5+ years leading sales at the VP level or above.
  • Familiarity with SaaS, ARR, and consumption-based business models.
  • Comfortable in a founder-led startup environment and skilled at working in a quickly evolving space.
  • Experience in a high-growth environment, ideally at a company scaling toward or through an IPO.
  • Executive presence, strong analytical rigor, and exceptional communication with boards, investors, customers, and employees.
  • Based at our Bay Area headquarters.

Strongly Preferred
  • Technical literacy: credible in a technical conversation, with a background in solution-led selling of complex software to CIO, CTO, CDO, and line-of-business buyers, close partnership with solutions engineering and product, and leadership of large, multi-stakeholder enterprise deals.
  • Experience selling AI, data, analytics, cloud, or platform products to large, regulated enterprises (financial services, insurance, telecom, healthcare).
  • Experience building channel and alliance motions with hyperscalers, data platforms, and system integrators.
  • A network of senior sales and go-to-market leaders to draw on as the team scales.
  • Prior experience taking a company public or preparing a sales organization for public-company rigor.for public-company rigor.
