About Healthleap

Every day, millions of hospitalized patients who need intervention are missed because clinicians simply can't see everything. HealthLeap is building the AI operating system that helps care teams identify these missed patients, enabling them to improve health outcomes and generate millions of dollars. HealthLeap is changing what is possible: closing gaps that traditional workflows and clinician capacity could never.

Over the past year, we've grown contracted revenue more than 13x, expanded rapidly across leading health systems, and now help care teams identify patients across millions of inpatient encounters.

We're ~25 people. >$32M raised. SF-based, hybrid-friendly. And, we're delivering results that are changing lives.

Why this role exists

The opportunity ahead is dramatically larger than our current team. Our CEO needs a trusted partner to help with product strategy, recruiting, AI-enabled operations, customer success, sales, and company building.

That's where you come in. As Chief of Staff, you'll become the CEO's highest-leverage partner—bringing clarity to complexity, turning strategy into execution, and helping HealthLeap to scale from an exceptional startup into an industry-defining healthcare company. You'll have a front-row seat to nearly every consequential decision as we build one of healthcare's fastest-growing AI companies.

What you’ll own

You'll work across nearly every critical function of the business; you'll help the company's leaders and their teams run like an all-star Super Bowl team. You’ll work with our investors, health system CEOs, marketing, engineering, sales, clinical, and more.

Day one, you’ll be:

  • Building an AI-native executive operating system.

  • Partnering on the CEO's highest-priority initiatives from fundraising to product launches and strategic planning.

  • Creating a structure where none exists, then building the systems that allow it to scale.

  • Sitting in the room for the company's biggest decisions and ensuring they become a reality.

  • Solving whatever is preventing HealthLeap from moving faster.

Please note that while HealthLeap is hybrid, the CEO and the Chief of Staff are in person 5 days a week.

What you bring to the table
  • Relentlessly curious.

  • Exceptional judgment.

  • AI-native builder.

  • Elite written and verbal communicator.

  • Able to bring order to ambiguity.

  • High ownership with low ego.

  • Energized by impossible problems.

  • Executes at extraordinary speed without sacrificing quality.

What makes you a great fit
  • Hands-on early-stage VC-backed startup experience (Seed - Series C)

  • 4-10 years of work experience

  • Bonus: Former VC-backed startup founder, Stint at a top-tier consulting/banking firm

If you're passionate about applying frontier AI to real-world impact, join us in building healthcare's future.
