Included Health is hiring a Chief of Staff to the CEO who is equal parts strategic partner and operator. You'll run the Office of the CEO and act as a force multiplier—translating strategy into sequenced execution across the organization. You'll architect and enforce our executive operating cadence so decisions tie to key operational & financial metrics — and then turn those decisions into clear owners, timelines, and measurable outcomes. As the CEO's proxy in key forums, you'll craft narratives, consolidate signal from Finance/FP&A and Operations, and drive cross-functional alignment. Success looks like faster cycles from decision to impact, higher CEO leverage, and durable execution at scale.

Responsibilities:

  • Translate the CEO's priorities into a focused, sequenced company plan; pressure-test assumptions and trade-offs with Executive Leadership Team (ETeam) Finance, and Ops.
  • Ensure ETeam alignment with annual and quarterly planning milestones and ensure plans tie to key financial and operational metrics.
  • Prep the CEO for key forums (board, investors, client execs, all-hands): craft narratives, talking points, and decision memos; drive crisp pre-reads and post-decision follow-through.
  • Serve as an extension of the CEO in select meetings; clarify decisions, surface risks, and represent the CEO's perspective with high judgment.
  • Design and run the executive operating cadence (ETeam Meetings, key business reviews, weekly staff meetings, executive retreats, etc.) board cycle) with clear inputs/outputs and SLAs.
  • Turn ETeam decisions into plans: define owners, commitments, milestones, and success metrics; track to closure and remove roadblocks.
  • Drive cross-functional execution for high-stakes programs spanning the organization—coordinate dependencies and land results on time.
  • Partner with FP&A on goal/forecast alignment (demand, capacity, hiring plan), highlighting variance and proposing corrective actions.
  • Strengthen executive team cohesion—facilitate offsites, set operating norms, and foster direct, constructive debate.

Requirements:

  • 5-7+ years in a mix of strategy and execution roles (e.g., Chief of Staff, GM/BU Ops, Product Ops, Corporate Strategy/PE/Consulting) with a track record of shipping cross-functional programs.
  • Masters of Business Administration
  • 5+ years of experience within the Healthcare Industry
  • Operator's toolkit: planning/OKRs, program management at scale, decision memos, dashboards, and exec-caliber communications.
  • Financial fluency: can link strategy to P&L, unit economics, run-rate, headcount, and ROI; comfortable partnering with FP&A.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication; can distill complex issues into crisp narratives and drive alignment.
  • High judgment and discretion; proven success representing a CEO/ELT internally and externally.
  • Strong systems thinking and prioritization; can say no, sequence work, and remove blockers without creating bureaucracy.
  • Change-management experience: aligning leaders, communicating change, measuring adoption, and iterating.
  • Mastery with modern tooling (OKR/project systems, data dashboards, collaboration suites); builds light, durable processes.
  • Bias to action and ownership; comfortable in ambiguity and fast-moving environments.
  • Brings positivity, humor, and resilience to the team, helping to make collaboration engaging and rewarding.

Physical/Cognitive Requirements:

  • Prompt and regular attendance at assigned work location.
  • Ability to remain seated in a stationary position for prolonged periods.
  • Requires eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity sufficient to operate keyboard, computer and other office-related equipment.
  • No heavy lifting is expected, though occasional exertion of about 20 lbs. of force (e.g., lifting a computer / laptop) may be required.
  • Ability to interact with leadership, employees, and members in an appropriate manner.
  • Ability to travel at least once quarterly.
