Navan is looking for a Chief of Staff / Strategic Initiatives to the SVP of Global Operations and Service. This strategic role will focus on driving key operational and strategic initiatives, connecting critical projects across the Global Operations and Service organization, and accelerating execution.
What You’ll Do:
- Act as a trusted advisor to the SVP of Global Operations and Service, providing strategic counsel and operational support on critical business decisions and goals.
- Manage the Global Operations and Service SVP’s office, including prioritizing operational topics, preparing briefing materials, and coordinating high-level meetings.
- Manage weekly GO&S leadership staff meetings including, but not limited to, setting the agenda, providing insights and analysis to inform strategic conversations and tracking follow through to increase accountability
- Support key strategic initiatives including board materials, investor presentations, town hall presentations, leadership meetings, and annual planning
- Work cross-functionally with departmental leaders and stakeholders to kick-off, actionize, and provide support across key company initiatives
- Oversee our goal-setting process, working with our management team to set, align and track company goals
- Drive and lead critical strategic operational projects to deliver results
What We’re Looking For:
- Previous experience in Chief of Staff, Operations, or Strategy roles working closely with senior management
- Agile and action-oriented with a proven ability to drive results
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and comfortable interacting with senior leaders, external partners, and staff at all levels
- Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills
- Demonstrated ability to lead a large portfolio of strategic initiatives and projects in a cross-functional environment on tight deadlines
- Thrives in ambiguous situations and has a bias for action, high emotional intelligence
The posted pay range represents the anticipated low and high end of the compensation for this position and is subject to change based on business need. To determine a successful candidate’s starting pay, we carefully consider a variety of factors, including primary work location, an evaluation of the candidate’s skills and experience, market demands, and internal parity.
For roles with on-target-earnings (OTE), the pay range includes both base salary and target incentive compensation. Target incentive compensation for some roles may include a ramping draw period. Compensation is higher for those who exceed targets. Candidates may receive more information from the recruiter.
