We work in-person five days a week in our San Francisco, NYC, or London offices.

About the Role

Mercor is looking for a Chief of Staff to the Head of Engagement Management to drive high-priority initiatives across sales, partnerships, marketing, and hiring. This is a high-ownership role for someone who can move quickly from strategy to execution, helping to drive the strategic direction of Mercor's rapidly expanding GTM efforts.

What You’ll Do
  • Sales Strategy: Develop and execute strategic initiatives to grow Mercor’s business across frontier labs, AI companies, and enterprises.

  • Partnerships: Activate partnerships with RL-as-a-service companies and partners to turn relationships into joint GTM and revenue opportunities.

  • Cross-Functional Incubation: Build 0→1 initiatives across product marketing, events marketing, and customer marketing, establishing the playbook before scaling dedicated teams.

  • Strategic Hiring: Identify organizational gaps and lead recruiting for high-priority roles across the Engagement Management organization.

  • Special Projects: Own the highest-leverage problems facing the organization, from strategy through execution.

What We’re Looking For
  • 3-4 years of experience in a Chief of Staff/Exec Ops role supporting a rapidly scaling business

  • Exceptional strategic thinking and execution

  • Strong commercial instincts and interest in AI

  • Ability to operate across sales, partnerships, marketing, and recruiting

  • High ownership, low ego, and comfort operating in ambiguity

  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
