Chief of Staff – Applied Materials (Xray Division)

The Chief of Staff will play a pivotal role in supporting the integration of a new leader within Applied Materials, ensuring a seamless transition and alignment with organizational objectives. This position is responsible for driving the completion of key action items, maintaining organizational cadence, and actively participating in IPC’s strategic planning sessions and quarterly business reviews.

The Chief of Staff will collaborate closely with support functions to identify, design, and deliver training programs, facilitate change management initiatives, and provide critical advice to the head of the Xray division. The role requires strong organizational skills, the ability to manage multiple priorities, and a proactive approach to problem-solving in a dynamic environment.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Supporting the integration and onboarding process for the new division leader to accelerate their effectiveness
  • Driving action items to completion, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and timely execution
  • Participating in IPC’s strategic planning and quarterly business reviews to monitor progress and evaluate outcomes
  • Collaborating with HR, training, and other support functions to deliver targeted training and change management initiatives
  • Providing critical counsel and operational support to the head of the Xray division
  • Maintaining effective communication and organizational cadence across stakeholders, including serving as a delegate for the Xray division head, ensuring efficient handling of interactions and requests from IPC/Applied leadership

This position requires a results-oriented mindset, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to build strong relationships across the organization. The Chief of Staff will be instrumental in ensuring the division’s success and the leader’s smooth integration into Applied Materials.

The salary offered to a selected candidate will be based on multiple factors including location, hire grade, job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and with consideration of internal equity of our current team members. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, candidates may be eligible for other forms of compensation such as participation in a bonus and a stock award program, as applicable.

For all sales roles, the posted salary range is the Target Total Cash (TTC) range for the role, which is the sum of base salary and target bonus amount at 100% goal achievement.
