About Clipboard

Our mission is to uplift as many communities as possible. We do this through our app-based marketplace that connects healthcare professionals with the workplaces that need amazing workers. This enables hundreds of thousands of people to achieve financial stability for themselves and their families while providing essential care to millions of people across the U.S.

Founded in 2016, we are a remote-first team of over 1,000 people building a top Y-Combinator company and have been profitable since 2022. We’re the leader in Long-Term Care staffing and are rapidly expanding into Home Health, Hospitals, and more, meaning we have more work to do than people to do it, and are growing our team to support millions more people and their communities.

About the Role

We’re looking for a high ownership, highly analytical and highly curious Chief of Staff to work directly with our Chief Product Officer to multiply impact on the highest priority work across the organization. This role is equal parts operations and strategy and is perfect for someone who is quick to gather context, decisive, and is comfortable moving seamlessly between strategic problem-solving and hands-on execution.

A few examples of work that may be in your stack in a given week:

  1. Driving execution on action items and commitments. You’ll track decisions and follow-ups coming out of leadership and cross-functional meetings, assign clear owners, and follow them to completion.

  2. Investigating open questions and diagnosing marketplace problems. You’ll dig into operational, customer or team problems, pulling and analyzing data to get to root causes and surface findings.

  3. Reviewing and pressure-testing work products. You’ll take a first pass on team documents and deliverables, including planning docs during the annual and quarterly planning cycles with Engineering, Product, and Design.

  4. Preparing for key meetings. You’ll build status reports and briefing materials that synthesize what's happening across functions, such as the monthly organizational risk review or All Hands meetings.

About You

This role is open to folks from many backgrounds but are looking for candidates who have proven experience in an executive support role, strong business judgement, regularly used analytical horsepower, and has an excellent track record of building trust and driving progress across an organization.

This is a mid to senior level role, so we’re looking for someone with a minimum of 4 years of related professional experience who is located in San Francisco (or open to relocation) and able to work 3-4 days per week out of our office in downtown SF.
