The Chief of Staff will support the CEO in various capacities including project management, system building, and executing strategic initiatives to scale the business.

Reducto helps AI teams ingest real-world enterprise data with state-of-the-art accuracy. Most enterprise data, from financial statements to health records, is locked in unstructured file formats like PDFs and spreadsheets. We train vision models to read those documents the way a human would, enabling teams to build products, train models, and automate processes at scale.
We’ve grown rapidly, increasing revenue 8x year over year and partnering with hundreds of companies, from leading AI teams like Harvey, Vanta, and Scale, to enterprise customers across FAANG and top trading firms.
Reducto has raised over $100M from world-class investors including a16z, Benchmark, and First Round Capital.

The Opportunity:

As Chief of Staff you'll serve as a direct partner and extension of our CEO, focused on multiplying capacity across every dimension of the business – sales, product, hiring, customer success, fundraising, and whatever else matters in a given day.
You’ll effectively run an “Office of the CEO”, operating as a right hand with the ability to step into any context and drive things forward. This role comes with really high expectations and responsibility, but also offers unparalleled exposure to building a fast-growing AI infrastructure company from the inside. For the right person this role can be an on ramp to a leadership role at the company.

What You’ll Do:

This role will cover a really broad range of work by design. In the first 90 days your work might include specific projects like helping our CEO prepare a leadership presentation for Fortune 100 enterprise renewals, working with our growth team to improve our self-serve funnel, or supporting recruiting with our key leadership hires. More broadly you will:

Extend the CEO’s Capacity

  • Maintain full context on what’s in flight – key deals, important hires, or customer escalations – and drive action items so nothing slips

  • Draft emails, memos, or updates on behalf of the CEO at a level that reflects their own standards

  • Understand the CEO’s priorities before they even mention it, proactively address blockers, and make sure they walk into every meeting ready.

Bring Structure to Chaos

  • Build systems to track, triage, and address important work as we scale the team and add new functions

  • Build automations and systems for repetitive work to help the company scale more effectively

  • Coordinate projects that span across multiple teams and cut operating inefficiencies wherever you find them

Do the Work That Needs Doing

  • Jump into important situations to help address them as they come whether it’s hiring or resolving customer issues

  • Pick up whatever is most important for the company that week, execute it at high quality, and move on to the next thing.

Some of your work is going to be strategic. Some of your work will be purely execution – low-ego work that just needs to get done. You’ll have to find satisfaction in both.

You’ll Thrive Here If You:
  • Have an exceptional capacity for work: You can process a high volume of tasks across completely different domains without sacrificing quality. You're the person who gets more done by Tuesday than most people do all week.

  • Are ambitious with a low ego: You view your work in the context of the bigger picture, and are willing to do anything that needs to get done.

  • Are an operations and systems builder at heart: You don't just execute—you build the scaffolding that makes execution repeatable. You see a messy process and instinctively create structure around it.

  • Are proactive and high-agency: You don't wait for instructions. You see what needs to happen, figure out how to do it, and make it happen—without needing someone to check your work.

  • Communicate well in all mediums: Whether it's a customer email, an internal update, or a investor memo, you can distill complexity into something sharp, clear, and actionable.

Bonus points if you:
  • Are at least semi-technical, and can build automations or learn new tools quickly.

  • Are exceptional with data, both in terms of analyzing data and building lightweight systems to track and manage it

  • Have previous experience at a high-growth startup

  • Are willing to roll up your sleeves and do whatever it takes

  • Thrive in ambiguous environments with rapid context switching

Why Reducto:
  • Impact: Your work directly shapes how the world’s best AI companies access and use enterprise data.

  • Speed: We move fast, ship often, and iterate in days, not months.

  • Learning: Work alongside world-class engineers, operators, and founders who care deeply about product, precision, and velocity.

Benefits:
  • Unlimited PTO

  • Daily Lunch, enjoy free lunch with teammates in the office.

  • Commuter Reimbursement, we’ll cover your transportation costs.

  • Comprehensive Insurance, medical, dental, and vision.

  • Health and Wellness Budget, up to $150 per month for wellness spending such as gym memberships or fitness classes.

  • Parental Leave, flexible scheduling that works for you and your family.

This is an in-person role based in our San Francisco office. We’re an early-stage company, we move fast and work hard. Please apply only if that excites you.
