About the Team

Droyd builds autonomous robotic systems that automate repetitive manual work in real environments. We design and manufacture our hardware in-house, which means iteration, fabrication, and execution all happen under one roof.

As the company scales, execution increasingly depends on strong coordination across customers, hiring, operations, and internal priorities. We move quickly across engineering, demos, recruiting, and company-building — and we need someone to keep it organized and driving forward.

About the Role

As Chief of Staff at Droyd, you will work closely with leadership to keep the company running smoothly. This is a high-leverage operational role focused on driving cross-functional follow-through, keeping priorities aligned, coordinating important initiatives, and acting as a general-purpose operator across the business.

You will help make sure key work does not stall, important relationships stay warm, internal operations improve as the team grows, and leadership stays focused on the most important problems.

This role is based on-site in San Francisco, CA.

In This Role, You'll

Execution & Follow-Through

  • Drive cross-functional follow-through on company priorities

  • Coordinate internal and external initiatives across customers, operations, hiring, and leadership

  • Act as a general-purpose operator to keep execution moving

Leadership Support

  • Help leadership stay organized across many parallel workstreams

  • Track important relationships, meetings, deliverables, and next steps

  • Support customer demo coordination and other time-sensitive operational needs

Company Operations

  • Help improve onboarding, internal processes, and general company operations

  • Represent leadership well internally and externally

Work Environment & Schedule

  • On-site in San Francisco, CA

  • Full-time

Compensation: $130K–$170K base salary, plus equity

We're Looking For Candidates Who

  • Are highly organized and strongly execution-oriented

  • Can manage many moving parts without dropping details

  • Communicate clearly and follow through reliably

  • Are comfortable operating in ambiguous, high-ownership environments

  • Have strong judgment and can represent leadership well internally and externally

  • Thrive in a fast-moving in-person startup

Nice to have:

  • Experience in operations, strategy, banking, consulting, startup generalist, or Chief of Staff roles

  • Experience supporting founders or senior leadership

  • Experience with recruiting coordination, onboarding, or customer operations

About Droyd

Droyd builds autonomous robotic systems that operate in real production environments. We design the hardware, develop the control stack, and generate the data that enables generalist robotics.

If we do this right, robots stop being demos and start being infrastructure.

Join us and help build the systems that make it real.
