About Vercel:

Vercel gives developers the tools and cloud infrastructure to build, scale, and secure a faster, more personalized web. As the team behind v0, Next.js, and AI SDK, Vercel helps customers like Ramp, Supreme, PayPal, and Under Armour build for the AI-native web.

Our mission is to enable the world to ship the best products. That starts with creating a place where everyone can do their best work. Whether you're building on our platform, supporting our customers, or shaping our story: You can just ship things.

About the Role:

We’re hiring a Product Manager to lead Vercel’s CI/CD platform — used by millions of developers each month. CI/CD is often a developer’s first interaction with Vercel, from triggering their first build to sharing a Preview and shipping to production. Your focus will be on making the end-to-end journey fast, clear, and rewarding. This role is deeply technical but centered on the user experience: surfacing state, helping users debug, and getting them to success quickly.

If you’re based within a pre-determined commuting distance of one of our offices (SF, NY, London, or Berlin), the role includes in-office anchor days on Monday, Tuesday, and Friday. If you're located beyond that distance, the role is fully remote. For location-specific details, please connect with our recruiting team.

What You Will Do:
  • Shape the new user experience: Optimize the path from first repo connect to first successful deploy
  • Integrate AI tooling: Add intelligent diagnostics, autofixes, and insights to improve developer iteration speed
  • Strengthen core CI/CD workflows: Improve build reliability, test orchestration, and deployment safety through better caching, rollback support, and failure recovery
  • Streamline Previews: Build out Vercel’s ephemeral environments—automatic, shareable, and tightly integrated with the dev workflow
  • Improve deployment visibility: Make it easy to understand what’s happening in every build and deployment, especially when things go wrong
About You:
  • Product-minded UX focus: You care about how devs experience diagnostics, feedback, and success
  • Customer obsessed: You foster productive, collaborative relationships with customers to help you build conviction and validate your product intuitions.
  • Technically strong: You can reason about APIs just as easily as web surfaces
  • Commitment to ship quickly: You iterate fast, validate assumptions, and bring an outcome-focused mentality
  • Execution & influence: You know how to earn trust and get things done
  • Interested in Vercel & CI/CD: You regularly use the Vercel product, and have strong opinions on how the build + deploy experience should feel
  • Quantitative background: A bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a similarly quantitative field is strongly preferred
Benefits:
  • Competitive compensation package, including equity.
  • Inclusive Healthcare Package.
  • Learn and Grow - we provide mentorship and send you to events that help you build your network and skills.
  • Flexible Time Off.
  • We will provide you the gear you need to do your role, and a WFH budget for you to outfit your space as needed.

The San Francisco, CA base pay range for this role is $164,000.00 - $246,000.00.  This salary range is an estimate. Actual salary will be based on job related skills, experience and location. Pay ranges outside San Francisco may be  adjusted based on employee location.  The total compensation package also includes benefits and equity-based compensation. Your recruiter can share more about the specific pay range for your location during the hiring process.
