Job Overview

The Client Strategist is responsible for supporting Specright's services sales, scoping, and delivery enablement to ensure customer success and profitable growth. This role bridges the gap between Sales, Professional Services, and Product teams-owning the development of scalable processes, Statements of Work (SOWs), and resource models that align with business objectives. The ideal candidate is a strategic team member who can translate complex customer requirements into actionable service solutions, support sales teams in capturing new opportunities as well as enhancements on existing opportunities, and continuously refine offerings to enhance customer outcomes and operational efficiency.

About the role

Sales Support

  • Act as the primary point of contact for assigned services related sales

  • Provide detailed Statements of Work, resourcing models, and applicable contract language to ensure services are delivered according to scope and clearly defined "done" statements

  • In addition to crafting SOWs, work with account executives to pitch and sell services to capture the value we're delivering

  • Collaborate with Sales Engineers on late stage deals – specifically demos or onsites – to begin crafting SOWs and put into a phased approach

  • Assist in creating and delivering product presentations and demonstrations tailored to customer requirements (demo delivery)

  • Serve as a trusted advisor to customers by providing in-depth technical knowledge and support.

Product Support

  • Provide continuous feedback on commonly customer requests that should be part of the core Specright product (aka PSO project)

  • Be liaison during sales cycle of pre-sales customer asks to the ARB (Architecture Review Board) – gets ARB signoff for anything in the SOW that is not OOTB

Professional Services Support

  • Support management of SOW library, services library, Certinia templates updates, and implementation workbook and BRD updates to ensure changes cascade to professional services delivery team

  • Provide guidance to Project Managers during handoffs on scope of work and be a point of escalation in the event of customer escalations

  • Ensure all services SOWs meet Specright organization margin targets

Customer Success

  • When Customer Success identify new sales opportunities, AEs are responsible for pulling in services sales

Valued Experience

  • 2 - 3 years of experience

  • Salesforce Platform and Salesforce Experience, Specright experience preferred

  • Experience presenting software; demonstrations, services value, and deployment/development strategies

  • Discovery skills to liaise with customers to understand their business challenges, configure & run complex evaluation labs and drive them to a technical win

  • Excellent persuasive presentation skills in order to present technical solutions to prospects and existing customers

  • An entrepreneurial attitude to proactively take on projects and execute on them with little direction

  • Success in an early-stage tech startup environment with Enterprise/ SaaS
