SOPHiA GENETICS
Clinical Solutions Engineer (Subject Matter Expert) - West Coast
Be an Early Applicant
Field-based clinical solutions engineer supporting sales of the SOPHiA GENETICS ecosystem. Uses hands-on clinical laboratory NGS expertise, assay implementation and validation knowledge, and CAP/CLIA experience to address customer concerns, explain adoption requirements, and build confidence in purchasing decisions. Partners with sales colleagues across a West Coast-to-Texas territory and travels for customer meetings, conferences, and events.
Do you bring hands-on next-generation sequencing (NGS) experience and an understanding of clinical laboratory operations? Have you helped a clinical laboratory navigate CAP/CLIA requirements and bring a new assay into routine use? Do you want to utilise your technical and clinical knowledge within a commercialised environment?
If this sounds like you and you are driven by purpose, join the SOPHiA GENETICS NORAM Sales team as a Clinical Solutions Engineer and enable us to make a positive impact on the outcomes for cancer and rare disease patients worldwide.
This is a field-based role. You'll work from a home office or travel across your territory for customer meetings, conferences and events.
We're looking for someone based in the United States, in the region spanning the West Coast through Texas. In most instances, we look for individuals already living in-territory, but welcome those actively relocating to the area.
Our Mission
We believe there is a smarter, more data-driven way to make decisions in healthcare and our cloud-native AI powered SOPHiA DDM Platform makes that vision a reality on a daily basis. You will have direct input to our mission to democratize data-driven medicine for the ultimate benefit of cancer and rare disease patients across the globe.
Your Mission
You'll help clinical laboratories make informed decisions about purchasing the SOPHiA GENETICS ecosystem, drawing on your hands-on NGS experience and understanding of laboratory operations, assay implementation and CAP/CLIA requirements. Working alongside sales colleagues, you'll use that knowledge to understand customers' needs, address their concerns and explain what adoption would mean for their laboratory. Your role is to build confidence in the buying decision, not to carry out the implementation.
