About The Team

Clover's Cloud Platform Engineering team is the heart of our engineering ecosystem, responsible for building and maintaining scalable, distributed, and fault-tolerant systems that support our mission to provide seamless, customer-centric experiences across our Point of Sale platform.

What You Will Do

• Lead and mentor a team of 6-8 Platform Engineers spanning Senior to Staff+ levels

• Collaborate with infrastructure, quality, and release teams to design scalable service platforms

• Work closely with application teams to understand requirements and drive platform evolution

• Establish technical vision balancing short and long-term goals

• Foster a culture of engineering excellence and team empowerment

• Scale systems through automation to improve reliability and development velocity

• Oversee team projects from inception to completion

• Lead blameless postmortems to ensure thorough incident remediation

What You Will Need To Have

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field

• 8+ years of industry experience in Software Engineering

• 2+ years of experience in engineering leadership

• Strong programming experience in Java, Python, Go, or C++

• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes

• Ability to manage complex technological ecosystems

Salary Range

$142,800.00 - $240,600.00

These pay ranges apply to employees in New York and California. Pay ranges for employees in other states may differ.
