CNC Router Operator (Woodworking)

We are seeking a skilled CNC Router Operator (Woodworking) to join our wood shop team. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge and experience in woodworking, with a primary focus on operating CNC routers. This role involves programming, setting up, and operating CNC machines to produce high-quality wood products according to specifications.

Responsibilities:

• Program, set up, and operate CNC routers to produce wood components as per design specifications.
• Interpret technical drawings and blueprints to ensure accurate production.
• Monitor machine operations to ensure quality and efficiency.
• Conduct routine maintenance and troubleshooting of CNC equipment.
• Collaborate with design and production teams to optimize manufacturing processes.
• Adhere to safety and quality standards throughout the manufacturing process.
• Additional tasks may require the use of a table saw, miter saw, shaper, planner, and finishing tools.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a CNC Woodworking Technician or similar role.
• Proficiency in programming CNC routers using CAD/CAM software (e.g., MasterCAM, AutoCAD, SolidWorks).
• Strong knowledge of woodworking techniques, materials, and tools.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
• Attention to detail and precision in work.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitude.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• High school diploma or equivalent; vocational or technical training in woodworking is a plus.
• Ability to communicate in Spanish highly desired.

Physical Demands and Work Environment:

• The employee frequently is required to walk or stand for long periods of time.
• The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 lbs., occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 lbs.

Fortune Brands believes in fair and equitable pay. A reasonable estimate of the base salary range for this role is Hiring Pay Range: 18.50 USD - 28.00 USD. Please note that actual salaries may vary within the range, or be above or below the range, based on factors including, but not limited to, education, training, experience, professional achievement, business need, and location. In addition to base salary, employees will participate in either an annual bonus plan based on company and individual performance, or a role-based sales incentive plan.
