Meet the Team

Cisco’s Global Enterprise Segment (GES) partners with the world’s most influential organizations as they navigate digital transformation and AI-driven innovation. The Collaboration team helps enterprise customers create intelligent workplace experiences and reimagine customer experience (CX) through Cisco’s industry-leading portfolio, including Webex Suite, Contact Center, Devices, and AI-powered workplace technologies.

Your Impact

As a Strategic Enterprise Account Executive, you will help customers deliver exceptional employee and customer experiences. You will guide them as they modernize their collaboration ecosystems, create intelligent workplace experiences, and put AI to work across their customer experience strategy. You will shape high-impact, strategic deal structures with commercial creativity across a defined set of Fortune 500 accounts, operating within a matrixed environment and partnering with internal account teams to drive growth and deliver measurable customer outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Deal Orchestration: Lead complex, large-scale deal cycles with a focus on deal creativity, commercial structuring, and aligning solutions to each customer’s strategic priorities. Build and maintain executive-level relationships that position Cisco as an essential partner in the customer’s workplace and customer experience transformation.
  • Workplace & CX Portfolio Growth: Identify, qualify, and close new business opportunities across Webex Suite, Contact Center, and Devices, from intelligent workplace experiences to AI-powered customer experience solutions.
  • Matrixed Collaboration: Partner effectively with existing account teams, Solutions Engineers, and ecosystem partners to deliver customer outcomes. You will support a broader segment of accounts while maintaining deep focus on a select list of top-tier targets.
  • Outcome-Based Business Case Analysis: Develop financial business case analyses around workplace and customer experience outcomes, leveraging Cisco-provided AI tools to ensure customer engagements are impactful to the outcomes being explored.
  • AI Platform Fluency: Engage credibly in customer conversations about AI architecture, including how large language models (LLMs), AI agents, and interoperability standards such as Model Context Protocol (MCP) and agent-to-agent (A2A) frameworks are shaping the modern workplace and CX stack. Articulate where Cisco’s portfolio fits within the customer’s broader AI strategy.
  • Thought Leadership and Best Practices: Serve as a thought leader and executive presenter on workplace and customer experience transformation. Capture what works in your deals and help establish best practices that can be leveraged across our teams.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 8+ years of enterprise technology sales experience with a proven track record of structuring and closing large, complex deals.
  • 5+ years of experience selling collaboration, unified communications, contact center/CX, SaaS, cloud, or related workplace technology solutions.
  • Executive presence and deep industry credibility; experience competing against or working within major cloud and technology providers (e.g., AWS, Microsoft) is highly valued.
  • Experience managing complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles and navigating large, matrixed organizations.
  • Strong financial and business acumen; ability to build business cases around workplace and customer experience outcomes, structure creative commercial agreements, and use AI tools as a core part of the analysis.
  • Working knowledge of AI platform architecture, including large language models (LLMs), agentic AI, and interoperability standards such as Model Context Protocol (MCP) and agent-to-agent (A2A) communication. Deep technical expertise is not required, but you must be conversant enough to engage credibly with customer architects, AI leaders, and line-of-business stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience selling enterprise SaaS platforms such as workplace collaboration, customer experience, CRM, or related business applications.
  • Proven ability to identify untapped opportunities and develop new business within existing enterprise footprints.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence C-suite executives and line-of-business stakeholders.
  • Strong executive presentation skills, with experience sharing thought leadership at customer briefings and industry events.
  • Ability to travel nationally to foster face-to-face executive relationships.
