Job Description:

We are seeking a strategic, outcome-focused Commercial Customer Marketing Manager to design and execute a comprehensive global engagement strategy for our commercial customer base. Operating at the unique intersection of customer lifecycle marketing and partner collaboration, you will drive product adoption, expand add-on sales, and secure long-term renewals. You will architect integrated quarterly campaigns that provide comprehensive market visibility and demand generation for our direct commercial sales teams (Account Directors) and global partner network (distributors, resellers, and services partners).

As a key driver of growth, you will champion our customer voice by scaling success stories globally and building thriving, persona-led peer communities across core technical and executive cohorts (Infrastructure, CIO/Executive, Security, and Developer). This global role requires a rare blend of strategic vision and a hands-on execution mindset.

Core Responsibilities

Customer Lifecycle & Campaign Strategy

  • Design and execute a comprehensive global marketing strategy to drive deep engagement, increase product adoption, stimulate add-on sales, and protect renewals within the commercial customer base.
  • Build and optimize an "always-on nurture" program featuring continuous, highly targeted email cadences that educate customers and maximize platform utility.
  • Architect integrated quarterly campaigns that align with commercial-specific sales plays, generating high-quality demand, leads, and meetings for direct sales and channel partners.

Partner Alignment & Reference Scaling

  • Collaborate closely with Regional Marketing Managers (RMMs) within the partner marketing team to activate our global distributor and reseller community.
  • Leverage the partner ecosystem to systematically source, scale, and capture customer success stories and references within the commercial segment.
  • Establish and maintain a robust, easily accessible library of customer reference materials to support global sales enablement.

Persona Community Building

  • Define, build, and nurture highly engaged peer communities tailored to core commercial personas: Infrastructure, CIO/Executive, Security, and Developer.
  • Establish and maintain, persona-based database segments specific to the commercial sector to guarantee highly targeted and relevant campaign orchestration.
  • Develop segment-specific content and initiatives that position our brand as a trusted authority and peer network leader for these critical technical and executive cohorts.

Cross-Functional Execution

  • Manage relationships with external agencies, copywriters, and internal subject matter experts (SMEs) to produce top-tier campaign assets, while remaining ready to personally draft copy and execute tactics when necessary.
  • Partner with internal marketing operations teams to streamline campaign setup, tracking, and execution within core automation platforms.

Qualifications

  • Experience: 12+ years of proven success in B2B customer marketing, growth marketing, or campaign strategy, preferably within a global enterprise technology or SaaS company.
  • Partner Marketing Savvy: Demonstrated experience working effectively alongside channel partner marketing teams, distributors, resellers, and systems integrators.
  • Community Architecture: Proven track record of building, launching, and managing persona-based communities or user groups targeting technical and executive stakeholders.
  • Tech Stack Context: Familiarity with enterprise marketing automation and CRM ecosystems; specific preference for experience or familiarity with Eloqua and Oracle Engagement Cloud (OEC).
  • Global Execution: Strong program management skills with the ability to lead cross-functional initiatives across corporate, regional, and sales organizations.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).

Success Metrics (What Good Looks Like)

  • Pipeline Generation: Measurable increase in add-on and expansion pipeline within the commercial customer segment through quarterly integrated campaigns.
  • Adoption & Utility: Demonstrated lift in product adoption, feature usage, and overall platform utility across targeted commercial accounts.
  • Reference Pipeline: Quarterly targets achieved for net-new customer success stories and reference materials sourced via the partner network.
  • Community Health: Established baseline growth, engagement, and retention metrics for the newly formed persona communities (Infrastructure, CIO, Security, Developer).

Leadership & Interpersonal Skills

  • Strategic Agility & Execution: A proactive project manager who thrives in a fast-paced global environment, balancing long-term strategy with an urgent willingness to execute tactics hands-on.
  • Cross-Functional Influence: Exceptional ability to drive alignment and build consensus across corporate, regional, sales, and partner marketing organizations.
  • Compelling Communication: A gifted storyteller with a keen understanding of what resonates with highly technical and executive audiences.
  • Outcome-Obsessed Mindset: A data-driven marketer committed to leveraging analytics to continuously test, learn, and optimize campaign performance.
