Job Description:

About the role:

This role will lead the development and execution of high-impact internal events, executive-ready content and internal communications that connect employees to Uniphore’s strategy, priorities and culture. The role will bring strong storytelling, project management and design sensibility to create polished experiences and materials across companywide meetings, leadership communications, intranet/knowledge base programs and event touchpoints. This is a hands-on, cross-functional role for a strategic communicator who can move seamlessly from planning to execution, leverage AI-enabled tools to improve efficiency and deliver consistent, high-quality work that elevates engagement across the organization.

Responsibilities

  • This position is responsible for leading the planning and execution of internal event experiences, driving high-impact content development and supporting internal communications. The position will create, develop, and implement content, communications, and event programs that align with Uniphore’s vision and direction.

  • A key expectation of this role is the ability to deliver sophisticated event experiences and executive-ready content - high-quality, polished and thoughtfully designed programs and materials with consistency that elevate engagement and reinforce culture across Uniphore and beyond.

  • This role also has the opportunity for expansion to external event support within the corporate communications organization.

Content Development

  • Own the creation of high-quality presentations for executive, companywide and event audiences—translating strategy and priorities into clear, compelling, visually polished narratives.

  • Lead companywide email support, including drafting, editing and coordinating leadership and project email campaigns, ensuring messaging is consistent, on-brand and audience-appropriate.

  • Serve as a hands-on content owner across formats (presentations, written communications, digital/visual assets), partnering with brand and creative teams to maintain quality and consistency.

  • Leverage AI tools and platforms (e.g., generative AI, MCP-integrated tools) to accelerate content development, streamline drafting/editing workflows and improve efficiency across decks, emails and communications materials.

  • Build and maintain a library/repository of reusable content templates, decks and messaging frameworks to drive efficiency and consistency across teams.

Internal Events

  • Deliver exceptional event experiences by designing a cohesive event journey (pre-event communications, agenda creation, speaker coordination, on-site/virtual experience flow and post-event follow-up) and ensuring polished execution across all touchpoints.

  • Lead the planning and execution of multiple internal events annually (in-person, virtual and hybrid), ensuring a consistent, high-quality attendee experience.

  • Develop and maintain detailed event project plans, timelines, run-of-show documents and production schedules; track deliverables, owners, risks and dependencies.

  • Serve as the dedicated owner for event runbooks, timelines, vendor coordination and experience polish—improving reliability, quality and stakeholder confidence.

  • Run event planning meetings and workstream check-ins; distribute action items and status updates; drive on-time delivery across stakeholders.

  • Coordinate vendors, partners, keynote speakers, internal/executive speakers (venue, AV, production, print, event technology, shipping/fulfillment) and provide on-site support as needed.

  • Working closely with our internal brand and creative team, develop and produce event assets and materials including presentations and visual content, signage/printed materials, digital graphics and event communications; coordinate swag/ordering and logistics.

  • Create content and messaging aligning company strategies, priorities, and initiatives that resonate with audiences and are aligned with company values.

  • Track budgets, approvals, timelines and deliverables; escalate risks early and propose options to keep delivery on track.

  • Ensure brand consistency across event materials and internal communications; maintain templates and evergreen resources for efficiency and consistency.

Internal Communications

  • Support internal communication programming, such as leadership and project email campaigns, intranet content, video stories and photographs as applicable and companywide and town hall meetings.

  • Own and lead the intranet and knowledge base program, including content strategy, information architecture and ongoing maintenance—driving a consistent, easy-to-navigate employee experience.

  • Lead cross-functional workstreams to capture, organize and evolve the intranet/knowledge base approach, partnering with stakeholders across the business to define ownership, governance and content cadence.

  • Partner with business stakeholders to develop and execute communication strategies and plans for communicating key event initiatives and project updates to employees, accounting for different employee audiences.

  • Research, interview, write, edit and coordinate internal communications and storytelling content related to events or projects.

  • Identify and track key metrics to measure performance of channels and employee engagement with communications.

  • Populate and maintain intranet stories and content as appropriate; support the updating of audience distribution lists.

  • In collaboration with the Corporate Communications team, help manage the cadence of internal communications channels.

  • Understand and align messaging with the company's mission and pillars, championing the company's purpose through storytelling using live presentations, written and audio/video formats.

  • Create and maintain a library of presentations and video archives of event materials.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in communications, public relations, journalism, marketing, English, event management, hospitality, business or related field is preferred. Or eight (8) years of related work experience.

  • 5+ years of related experience in internal and/or corporate communications, content development, event management or a blend of both.

  • Excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skills.

  • Demonstrated ability to develop high-quality decks/presentations, communication plans, coordinate interviews/stakeholders, develop key messages and track KPIs.

  • Strong project/program management skills with the ability to manage multiple concurrent projects in a deadline-driven environment.

  • AI expertise and experience required, including practical fluency with AI tools and platforms (e.g., generative AI, MCP-integrated tools) to support content creation, communications and workflow efficiency.

  • Experience building and leading intranet, knowledge base, or content management programs, including running cross-functional workstreams to define approach, ownership and governance.

  • Proficient using PowerPoint and Microsoft O365 suite.

  • Ability to handle sensitive information with the utmost discretion.

  • Ability to collaborate cross functionally and build relationships at all levels of the organization and across business functions, establish credibility and act as a trusted partner.

  • Experience with complex, high-visibility internal events and/or large-scale meetings (multi-session, multi-stakeholder, tight production timelines).

  • Experience with event technology platforms (e.g., registration tools / mobile event apps).

  • Strong design sensibility and experience producing executive-ready presentations and communications assets.

  • Experience with video content planning/production for internal communications or event programming.
