Join Our Team: Communications Coordinator

We are seeking a talented Communications Coordinator to join our team and work closely with our Communications & Content Manager in delivering exceptional communications for our members.

This role is perfect for a creative professional with private club experience and a passion for digital media—including video production, drone photography/videography, and multimedia storytelling.

As our Communications Coordinator, you’ll play a key role in capturing the vibrancy of Club life, producing engaging digital and print content, and ensuring members stay informed through timely, polished, and visually compelling communications.

What You’ll Do:

  • Create and share high-quality content across our website, social media, and print materials.
  • Capture and edit stunning photos, videos, and drone footage of Club events and amenities.
  • Maintain a strong and consistent presence on Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn.
  • Support departments with creative communications, event signage, menus, and marketing materials.

Position Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented, creative, and resourceful Communications Coordinator to work alongside our Communications & Content Manager in delivering exceptional communication experiences for our members. This role plays a vital part in ensuring that timely, accurate, and visually engaging information is shared across the Club’s digital, print, and in-person channels.

The ideal candidate will bring private club experience in a similar communications role, paired with strong digital media skills—including video production, drone photography/videography, and multimedia editing. This position requires an eye for detail, excellent organizational skills, and the flexibility to support multiple departments in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

Content Creation & Member Communications

  • Collaborate with the Communications & Content Manager to produce high-quality content for internal and external communications.
  • Draft, edit, and distribute engaging email announcements to members and staff regarding events, updates, and Club news.
  • Assist with the development of monthly/seasonal social calendars and Club journals.
  • Respond promptly to same-day or last-minute communication and signage requests from departments.

Digital Media & Video Production

  • Capture professional-quality photos, videos, and drone footage for use across all media channels.
  • Edit digital media using tools such as Lightroom, CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro, or equivalent.
  • Produce TV slideshows, promotional clips, and event highlight reels to enhance member engagement.

Social Media Management

  • Maintain and grow the Club’s presence on Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn.
  • Curate and post visually compelling and brand-consistent content to highlight Club activities, amenities, and member events.
  • Monitor engagement and assist in responding to comments and inquiries.

Website & Digital Updates

  • Maintain up-to-date flyers, announcements, and event listings on the Club website (no coding required).
  • Ensure accuracy of links, page content, and imagery.
  • Assist members with password resets and general website navigation support.

Print & Signage Production

  • Finalize, print, and distribute flyers, menus, and event signage for various departments.
  • Maintain inventory of printed materials and the flyer display wall.
  • Support Food & Beverage with regular menu updates (lunch, dinner, dessert, cocktails, wine list).
  • Design custom buffet labels, menus, and event signage for special occasions.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Prior experience in a similar communications role within a private club setting is required.
  • Strong proficiency in digital media production, including video and drone work.
  • Skilled in photo/video editing software and basic graphic design tools (e.g., Canva, Photoshop Elements, Lightroom).
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Publisher) and general file management.
  • Familiarity with website content management systems preferred.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Professional presence with a positive, collaborative, and service-focused attitude.
