About the RoleWe’re looking for a Community & Marketing Manager to design, launch, and scale Mercor’s global community across digital platforms. You’ll build integrated online programs that grow engagement, foster connection among experts, and elevate Mercor’s presence across social media, partnerships, and content channels.
This role is highly cross-functional and external-facing. Its ideal for a builder who thrives at the intersection of operations, community, and digital storytelling.
What You’ll DoDevelop community engagement programs for different expert segments (ex. clinicians, AI researchers, legal specialists).
Develop and execute Mercor’s community strategy across social platforms (LinkedIn, X/Twitter, YouTube, Discord, etc.)
Create and manage content pipelines, from highlight clips and thought-leadership posts to product launch campaigns and community spotlights.
Run multi-channel marketing campaigns across social, email, and partnerships to grow awareness, referrals, and inbound participation.
Collaborate with Product & Engineering to translate launches and updates into compelling public narratives and visual content.
Empower advocates and ambassadors to share Mercor content and host lightweight online sessions or AMAs.
Track performance and community health metrics, i.e. engagement rates, sentiment, and referrals.
Manage social brand voice and consistency, ensuring that tone and visuals align with Mercor’s positioning in the AI and talent ecosystem.
Experienced in social media and community management, ideally for a tech company or high-growth startup.
High EQ, excellent communicator, comfortable projecting in crowds and in one-to-one settings.
Familiar with technology environments and up-to-date on AI trends.
Skilled at content strategy, copywriting, and storytelling, especially for professional or technical audiences.
Define success metrics, track results, and iterate with data.
Built something from zero (company, club, conference, creator community).
Bachelor’s degree preferred — Business, Economics, Marketing, or similar.
Experience engaging professional audiences like physicians, lawyers, researchers, or senior engineers.
Familiarity with Airtable/Sheets, Notion, Figma, Canva, Eventbrite/Luma/Splash, HubSpot/Marketo.
An existing online or IRL audience.
Base salary: $120K–$200K
