Why Harvey

At Harvey, we’re transforming how legal and professional services operate. By combining frontier agentic AI, an enterprise-grade platform, and deep domain expertise, we’re reshaping how critical knowledge work gets done for decades to come.

This is a rare chance to help build a generational company at a true inflection point. We have strong product-market fit and world-class investor support. We’re scaling fast and defining a new category in real time. The work is ambitious, the bar is high, and the opportunity for growth — personal, professional, and financial — is unmatched.

Our team moves fast, takes ownership, and is deeply committed to the mission — operating with intensity, staying close to our customers, and pushing each other for excellence. We live by three values: Decisiveness, Simplicity, and Job's Not Finished. We act quickly on clear judgment over perfect information, we believe simplicity is what scales, and we're never satisfied with where we are. If you want to do the best work of your career alongside people who share that drive, we'd love to build with you.

At Harvey, the future of professional services is being written today — and we’re just getting started.

Role Overview

Harvey is looking for an experienced Compensation Business Partner to help shape how we attract, motivate, and reward our rapidly growing GTM organization.

This is a strategic role partnering with Sales Leadership, Revenue Operations, Finance, Recruiting, and People to ensure our compensation programs are competitive, scalable, and aligned with our business goals. You'll bring deep expertise in sales compensation and market practices, helping leaders make thoughtful decisions as Harvey continues to scale.

This role is intentionally designed as a close partnership with Revenue Operations. Revenue Operations owns the incentive design and operational execution of our sales compensation programs including plan administration, calculations, tooling, and day-to-day program management, while you'll serve as the compensation expert, advising on market trends, compensation strategy, pay competitiveness, and best practices.

This is an opportunity to have an outsized impact at one of the fastest-growing AI companies in the world.

What You'll Do

Partner with GTM Leadership
  • Partner closely with Sales Leadership, Revenue Operations, Finance, Recruiting, and People Business Partners to support Harvey's rapidly growing commercial organization.

  • Serve as a trusted advisor to leaders on compensation decisions across Sales, Customer Success, Solutions Architecture, and other GTM functions.

  • Develop market-informed recommendations for new hires, promotions, organizational changes, and evolving GTM roles.

Bring Compensation Expertise
  • Act as Harvey's subject matter expert on GTM compensation and external market practices.

  • Leverage market benchmarking and industry trends to advise leaders on competitive compensation strategies.

  • Help ensure Harvey's compensation programs remain equitable, competitive, and aligned with our overall compensation philosophy.

  • Partner with Recruiting on compensation for strategic GTM hires.

Partner with Revenue Operations
  • Partner closely with Revenue Operations as they design and evolve sales incentive programs.

  • Provide guidance on market practices, pay mix, incentive structures, governance, and scalability.

  • Bring an external compensation perspective to incentive design discussions while ensuring alignment with Harvey's broader compensation philosophy.

  • Help evaluate new approaches as Harvey expands into new products, markets, and customer segments.

Scale Our Compensation Programs
  • Help build scalable frameworks and governance for GTM compensation.

  • Analyze internal and external compensation data to support executive decision making.

  • Influence senior leaders through thoughtful recommendations backed by data and market insight.

What You Have

Required
  • 6+ years of compensation experience supporting GTM organizations.

  • Significant experience designing or advising on sales compensation programs.

  • Strong understanding of sales compensation market practices, including pay mix, incentive plans, accelerators, quotas, territory considerations, and commercial compensation frameworks.

  • Experience partnering closely with Revenue Operations and Sales Leadership.

  • Experience using market data and benchmarking to influence compensation decisions.

  • Exceptional communication skills with the ability to influence senior stakeholders.

  • Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution in a fast-paced environment.
