Compensation: $100,000-$125,000
 
Schedule/Shift: Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm

Build, design and implement, compensation programs to support leaders in attracting, retaining and engaging talent across the organization. Build infrastructure, training, systems and ensure that appropriate technology is in place to support compensation processes. Support key total rewards initiatives across 7 states and over 40 branches and ensure that the company continues to evolve our approach to remain competitive. Support compensation programs across all levels within the organization and align communication to ensure appropriate change management is in place.   

Responsibilities: 
  • Leverage data and analytics to assess the effectiveness of compensation programs and make data-driven recommendations to the leadership team and comp committee. Prepare regular reporting on compensation trends, cost implications, and other relevant metrics. 
  • Ensure relevancy and maintain up to date knowledge on employment laws and regulations to ensure compliance in all compensation-related activities.  
  • Design and implement job architecture and communication strategy. Conduct job evaluations and analysis to determine the appropriate levels for various roles within the organization. 
  • Design and manage compensation structures across multiple disciplines and geographies. Perform ongoing compensation analysis and studies to ensure that updated salaries are in place based on market trends and organizational needs. 
  • Lead the planning & execution of compensation review process including budget and forecast development, implement appropriate technology systems, conduct employee and leader education sessions, and sustainable metrics and success measures. 
  • Manage and develop incentive and bonus programs that align to the overall company comp philosophy and pay for performance. Evaluate the effectiveness of existing programs and recommend improvements as needed. 
  • Develop and communicate compensation processes, policies, programs, and changes to employees and management. Provide training and support to stakeholders on compensation-related matters. Partner with outside vendors/consultants to develop, execute and maintain compensation programs and frameworks. 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a Compensation management role. 
  • 6 – 8 years of progressive Compensation experience  
  • Master’s degree or relevant certifications (e.g., Certified Compensation Professional) are a plus 4. Advanced knowledge of compensation principles, job evaluation, and salary & equity administration. 
  • In-depth knowledge of compensation trends, including new and progressive programs.  
  • Strives working collaboratively in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment. 
  • Ability to collect and analyze information, problem-solve, and make recommendations or decisions.  
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage a wide variety of projects simultaneously under tight deadlines. 
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills across different audiences.  
  • Project management and organizational skills with a demonstrated ability to navigate in a fast-paced performance-oriented environment, 
  • Excel & Presentations Wizardry: Advanced Excel user and proficiency in using the G-Suite and MS suite of products, such as Word and PowerPoint. 
  • Great storyteller with data. 
  • Ability to learn quickly, self-starter. Self-directed individual with initiative, interpersonal, time management and problem-solving skills. 
  • Ability to exercise discretion, judgment, in managing highly sensitive and confidential information.  
  • Understanding of the Finance & Accounting functions, and have worked to develop budget projections/inputs, feed and maintenance of HR data to their systems and building compensation structures in an HRIS. 
  • Advanced understanding of Rewards regulations, market trends, and program design, as well as legislation that may affect policies/practices.
