The Configuration Management (CM) Specialist – Senior Level provides senior configuration management expertise for highly complex information systems and their associated hardware and software components. The CM Specialist leads or supervises configuration management activities, maintains allocated, functional, and physical configuration baselines throughout the system lifecycle, supports audits, and advises Configuration Control Boards (CCBs). The role evaluates engineering changes for impacts to configuration baselines and logistics support, maintains configuration records and technical documentation, and works with quality assurance and management personnel to ensure accurate, controlled, and well-documented product baselines.


*This position is contingent upon contract award.*

Responsibilities:

    • Lead or supervise configuration management specialists and associated CM activities.
    • Establish and maintain configuration baseline control throughout the lifecycle of complex information systems and hardware/software components.
    • Facilitate and advise Configuration Control Boards (CCBs).
    • Maintain allocated, functional, and physical configuration baselines.
    • Support configuration audits and associated documentation activities.
    • Review engineering change requests and assess impacts to configuration baselines and logistics support elements.
    • Maintain configuration control records and technical documentation.
    • Coordinate with quality assurance and management representatives to maintain accurate and well-documented product baselines.
    • Prepare directives supporting change authorization and implementation.
    • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

    • Years of Experience: Five (5) years of relevant experience.
    • Clearance Requirements: Secret; Moderate Risk, Non-Critical Sensitive, Tier 3/NACLC/ANACI investigation at time of proposal.
    • DoD/DoW circuit management experience
