Job Purpose and Impact
  • The Consultant, Core Cyber Operations - Forensics, Discovery, and Insider Investigations, primarily supports our eDiscovery capabilities. The Consultant partners with Senior team members, leads assigned internal team workflows, contributes to larger initiatives, and collaborates with internal and external stakeholders. Reporting to the Director, Core Cyber Operations - Forensics, Discovery and Insider Investigations, this role is pivotal in maintaining the trust and integrity of our investigative capabilities.
    This role requires a detail-oriented individual with growing analytical and communication skills, capable of handling sensitive information with the utmost confidentiality and professionalism.
    The ideal candidate will have foundational experience in eDiscovery or document review investigations. They will be responsible for assisting in applying established investigation methodologies and solutions.

Key Accountabilities
With supervision, this job supports the following functions:
    • E-DISCOVERY: Support the eDiscovery Lead and Senior Consultant(s) by executing eDiscovery workflows involving legal hold application, data preservation, review support, and case management, etc.
    • DIGITAL FORENSICS: Support the Digital Forensics Lead and Senior Consultant(s) by supporting internal document review investigations by identifying, collecting, hosting, and supporting review of relevant datasets.
    • QUALITY & REPORTING: Practice and maintain eDiscovery and Forensics investigation quality standards. Escalate matters to Senior team members promptly and effectively.
    • TRAINING & DEVELOPMENT: Train and learn from Senior team members to enhance eDiscovery and digital forensics skills and knowledge. Participate in relevant industry conferences and/or certification programs to gain and maintain credentialization.
    • NETWORKING: Collaborate with stakeholders, including Law, Ethics & Compliance, and Core Cyber Operations, to ensure comprehensive and ethical investigations. Escalate matters to Senior team members, as needed.

Qualifications
MINIMUM & TYPICAL YEARS OF WORK EXPERIENCE
  • Minimum requirement of 3 years of relevant work experience. Typically reflects 4 years or more of relevant experience.
  • Knowledge of eDiscovery principles and techniques.
  • Familiarity of digital forensics principles and techniques.
  • Working toward, or willing to begin working toward, industry-relevant certification(s).
  • Experience with Microsoft 365 Purview eDiscovery Premium preferred.
  • Experience with non-M365 document review solutions (Intella, Relativity, Nuix) a plus.
